Sydney's best kept secret!
I took my son here during school holidays. There is so much yu can see for free around the grounds and through the museum. We paid for tickets to see a short 3D movie and then went upstairs to the telescope. I had thought going during the day we wouldn't get to see anything but we were able to see the sun! Pretty cool stuff. My son LOVED it!
And then to top it off they had a room with a huge table filled with Lego. He was in heaven.
A great day out and not many people about so we were able to enjoy the place at our leisure.

Night time star-gazing... fantastic! The whole night tour lasted about an hour and a half and we got to look through the big telescope as well as hearing a lot of fascinating stuff about the equipment used and the history of the site. The acoustic tricks in the big dome are definitely freaky! Good value for a different kind of night out.

Amazing amazing amazing place!! We were able to get in last minute due to a cancellation on a perfect Sydney evening. WOW. The staff were sooo informative and passionate. Def well worth a visit!!
