Please do your research when checking out online reviews for the Victorian Cosmetic Institute. In my personal opinion it's very concerning that honest and genuine reviews are being replaced with reviews that appear to be fake.

On a number of occasions over the last 12 months my Google reviews for the Victorian Cosmetic Institute were removed and in the last week alone
I've had my Google review removed three times.

Days later, seven reviews with 5 star ratings were posted within 24 hours of each other. A further 2 reviews with 5 star ratings have also just been posted within hours of each other as I write this review.

In my personal opinion reviews with a 1 star rating are being replaced with reviews with 5 star ratings in order for the Victorian Cosmetic Institute's overall Google rating to remain high.

Also, please keep in mind the amount of likes for both 1 star ratings & 5 star ratings when doing a Google search on the Victorian Cosmetic Institute.

Dr Gavin Chan has spent a lot of money and has gone to great lengths to silence me and many others with threats of legal action but I will not be silenced as I believe it is in the public's best interest that they are made aware of the truth.

EDIT: another three Google reviews with 5 star ratings were added in the last 24 hours while my Google review was removed once again. I have just reposted this review.

Dr chan & his team of staff and Drs are nothing but 100/10. There professionalism & caring nature is nothing but quality.Dr chan has helped me with a cosmetic procedure that went wrong from the goodness of his heart. He has also injected me with Botox and it’s the best I have ever had. I cannot rate this clinic high enough. If you want the best of the best VCI is the place for you.

This review is based on my personal experience.
Firstly the cosnsult fee is $195.
NO OTHER clinic charges a consult fee for injectables but since it was coming off the procedure cost i paid.
The consult was ok i guess. It was done via ZOOM.
DR Natasha said she was heavily booked out but she said she would squeeze me in. The earliest appoint was 7 weeks away. I pencilled this in and took the day off work.
I got sent forms to sign and return.
A week before my appointment I messaged the clinic to ask for payment forms for the deposit for the upcoming booking.
The clinic could not find my booking. Apparently I didn't have one. So I waited 7 weeks for nothing.
So unprofessional.
This resulted in lost wages as i took the whole day off.
The clinic said they would try and book in me another day although DR Natasha is heavily booked out so it would be another couple months wait.
I declined and asked for a refund of the consult fee which they agreed too twice. They then decided i wasn't going to get it and reneged on the refund.
I think im most upset about all the other procedures I wanted to have done there.

HANDS DOWN the most unprofessional & dysfunctional company I have dealt with.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who asks.

I have been attending VCI for over 10 years. Gavin is the most wonderful dr. His clinic is beautiful with the most up to date equipment and techniques.
He always has time for his patients, never leaves you feeling rushed.
I would highly recommend VCI.

I recently discovered Gavin Chan after searching “tear trough filler” on YouTube. I watched a video showing Gavin fixing a woman’s tear trough area but dissolving a previous injectors work and reinjecting and then results were outstanding!

I decided to contact Gavin Chan for advice after I had received some botched fillers which left me with a Tyndall effect (permamnant black eyes) from a DR who wasn’t taking my calls or providing any advice.

When I spoke to Gavin he was so lovely and informative - it was truely refreshing to see an injector who cared about the wellbeing of others (and not just a money grabber unlike some)

When your face is botched you have no idea how it can affect your self esteem and I honestly cannot thank Gavin enough for all the great advise he offered me.

I’m from Sydney, but next time in Melbourne (and the lockdown is over), I will definitely be seeing Gavin for future treatments.

Do yourself a favour and look up his work - natural results yet the changes are so amazing!

Terrible,,,had fillers to my tear trough four years ago with Gavin, it was uneven at the time but he refused to fix it, now four years later one side is still very full, and they are still refusing to fix it unless I pay more money, don’t go there they only want your money.

For the moment you enter their consultation they make you feel welcomed and well looked after
They provide a very personalised service, focused on the patient needs and circumstances and they are very accommodating.

I've just had the ruby laser done with Natasha, the results were amazing at removing sun spots, freckles and overall pigmentation. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to improve pigmentation to have this procedure! The staff are very helpful & friendly.

Came here for cyst injection and Dr. Somayeh recommended me list of products to take and diet to follow. The products can be purchased online at a cheaper price than buying in house.

However the consultation and service was good. A bit pricey but then I get a compliment facial peel on next review and initial consultation fee has been waived on first visit. Place is comfy and procedure was fast within an hour I am out.

The staff here are awesome and very friendly. The doctors here are profectionest. Results are always better than what i expect, and I've always left very satisfied. . Dr Natasha is my doctor and I recommend her for amazing results.

All of the staff are friendly and professional. Dr Sara is incredibly thorough in providing information and advice about treatments and I have absolute confidence in her. The reminders for appointment times via text and email are also very useful. I would definitely recommend the institute to others.
