Probably the best fish burger I've had. Nice bread, just the right amount of fillings. Chips are crunchy, not too oily. Potato cakes were average. Overall a good place and I'll be back soon.

have been to this shop twice on day trips out to that area. very fresh produce and good size serves.

My friend (who lives in the area) and I called into this shop to get our dinner one night and were happy with our order.

Our grilled flake was cooked well and chips were crunchy.

I have to say they are very generous with the chips as we struggled to finish them off as we had so much!

Its not a bad place

Quick and courteous service, whether for phone orders or in person, and the food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They also tend to throw in a little extra - a handful of chips or a bonus potato cake.

The fish and chips from here have always been good, never greasy or gross like fish and chips can be sometimes. It's good value -- if you order two potato cakes and they're a little on the small size, you'll usually end up getting 3 or 4 in your order to make up for it. Prices are pretty standard, but you're getting such nice food it almost feels like a bargain.
