Imagine my suprise when I took in my gold bracelet and received a silver one in return. The owner left it 'up to me' to come up with a resolution as he was adamant that what I handed in for repair for Silver. The fact that I have never owned or worn any Silver Jewellery, didn't seem to matter. Not happy that it was left in my court - customer service at it's worst when the Owner/Manager did not want to propose a mutually acceptable outcome.
Very unfair comment considering I have the customers carbon copy and the original which both state the description of the item left was silver and not gold, not to mention the repair was booked in by a second party and not the customer who has made these claims. A copy of the detailed description signed by the individual who booked in the job is available for viewing upon request. I'm not in any way suggesting the customer is dishonest, however I am certain there was no mix up at our end. After 30 years in the industry, we have a fail proof process that ensures the impossibility of any mix up and a 100% perfect record that ensures the right job is returned completed to the highest standard to the right customer. Very disappointing to see these comments when it was pointed out at the very beginning that it was a silver bracelet and not gold.
