Their prices seem to be creeping up, but isn't everything? Still value for money, we love their port so we always take a couple of flagons to fill. Always happy customers, quality wine here at bargain prices.

Popped in to fill a couple of flagons with port and red wine, it was very busy and we had to wait a while but it is always worth it as they offer such quality. Unfortunately, this time round we were overcharged by almost $10, we didn't realise until we were almost home, was quite annoyed, but as they do not give you a receipt you cannot go back to them about it. So make sure to know how much it will cost before paying, everything is written on the board.

Every few weeks we return with our flagons to have them refilled, more often if we have had friends visiting. Prices are fantastic and the quality, second to none. I have noticed it getting busier, wait time certainly has increased, especially around any holidays. It is definitely worth the wait, a definite must check out when in Mclaren Vale and visiting wineries nearby,

I am here at least twice a month stocking up on wine and port. Their prices cannot be beaten, just check out the other local wineries and you will understand. They are of a very high quality, especially their port. Take your own flagons and it is quite a bit cheaper by the litre.
Always very friendly service. Highly recommend.

Another visit with Tinlins for a wine and port stock up for Christmas. Their prices have increased, but only slightly. The quality of their wine and port is sensational, we always take our flagons in for refills as it is a lot cheaper.

Once you sample their wine I am sure you will make a purchase. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Looking for fantastic quality wine then Tin Lins is a must visit. So cheap but high quality wine. My wife and I go here quite often to fill our flagons. A must is there port, it is high quality, most recently tried their 10 year old port but was told it was actally 16 years old. We did some taste testing and could not pass up this fantastic port, really good value and oh so good. This place will save you a fortune.

My husband and I returned to Tin Lins today and purchased another flagon of their awesome Port at only $8.50 (refilling our own flagon) I tried some Apricot wine, a bit tooo sweet for me and I have a sweet tooth. We filled a flagon of claret last weekend for only $4. It tasted just like a $10 bottle of wine, certainly not lacking on quality here.

You have to pay with cash as they do not have eftpos and therefore no credit cards either. Make sure you come prepared because you WILL be spending up here.

We were doing some wine tasting yesterday and decided we would pack a few of our empty flagons and check out this winery. We could not believe the prices, so cheap. I did most of the tasting as my wife offered to drive. The ruby port was very nice but we ended up purchasing a flagon of their tawny port, I have to say it is one of the best tawny ports I have ever tasted. To purchased one alread filled is $10.50, but if you bring your own flagon it is $8.50. We also purchased a flagon of riesling (cost was $7 using our flagon) and claret ($8.50 using our flagon). We also purchased a bottle of ginger wine for about $5.50. The staff member was not knowledgeable, but we didn't mind, we just enjoyed tasting and purchasing. After visiting many other wineries yesterday, we found Tinlins to be the best value for money. Highly recommend them. They are open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm. A definite must visit when in Mclaren Vale.

Friends introduced us on our winery tour. They had the most amazing ruby red. It was only $10 a flagon. We ended up buying 4 flagons.
there was only one mature lady serving however she was more than happy to let us sample all the products that she had.
great pale for a bargain, would be coming here again soon.

We have found this place to be great value especially if you like Tawny or Ruby Port.
You can take your own container to fill or buy theirs. It's not your top quality stuff but for what you pay it's great. My hubby is really choosy with his Port but he really likes their Ruby which is just brilliant value.
They also do ginger wine, sherry etc
Worth a trip out to do a bit of tasting, at those prices you're bound to come away with something.
