Do not recommend

I can't recommend Victory as when I had an issue and asked to speak to Management I was not allowed to do that and was guided to the Rep Jim. When I explained to him that the sheer blinds installed inside the window frames were preventing me from being able to remove the insect screens to clean them and windows and I wish he had told me that he said "No one has ever had an issue with that before so why would i think to tell you that?'' He said "you can just remove the blinds when you want to clean windows". I explained as some are over 2m long that would be difficult. Recently i called them as 2 of the blinds metal frames have always banged on window sill as they were not long enough. I was told i could have a call out at $140 refundable and when Technician was here he lowered blinds so they would no longer bang. Today i sought a refund and i was told notes indicate nothing wrong with install, it was customer choice to have blinds lowered. I tried discuss this with Reception and asked her how she would feel if in my position? She had a zero care factor response saying she wouldn't know as it's not her house. I said imagine it were your house. She said she would tape foam to the window sills. Very poor - very disappointed.

3k down the drain. Whatever you do - don’t go with Victory Blinds.
In June 2021, I ordered a warm white sheer curtain to match the wall, and an external roller shutter. Sales person recommended the white colour and order was placed.
Fast forward to October 2021 on install day, the curtain arrives stark white and the roller shutter didn’t fit the wall’s dimensions and was taken away as defective.
I immediately asked for a refund on the shutter - wanting to avoid another 6 months of pain. Was promised by the manager would call 3 weeks ago but haven’t heard peep.
Victory Blinds are absolute scammers.
Do not buy from them under any circumstances!
Hope you are enjoying my 3k you’ve had for 6 months without delivering anything and no communication.

We used Victory blinds a year ago and our experience was not great. We wanted to add a blind next to the one from a year ago so we called Victory again for consistency. I wish I hadn't.

I had a quote done on Wednesday 11th of November by Salesman Jim P. He came, we discussed two external blinds, and the option of getting them done prior to Christmas. One blind needed an extra measure prior to order, but he said we could split the order to get the one I wanted done prior to Christmas. I asked what the timelines were like, he said currently early-mid Dec, but I would need to get my form in 'quick'. I received the quote at the end of the next business day (Thursday) Within 3 working days after I received the quote, I had my order in with half the deposit.
The next time I heard from Jim was on the 30th Nov (just after the non-urgent blind got measured), when he rang with a question about a colour on the blind (the one that was supposed to be installed prior to xmas). So clearly although I submitted my forms 2 weeks prior, my order hadn't been split and submitted separately. After answering his question, I asked him when install was and he replied January. I advised him I wasn't too pleased to hear this, and he proceeded to tell me it was my fault for taking so long to hand my order/deposit in. He knew I wasn't happy. After the call I got a text saying he would get back to me 'tomorrow' re ETA on my install and wrote dates in the text that I got my forms in (ie. it was my fault). I was furious, but let it go. Jim didn't get back to me 'tomorrow', so on the third day I sent him a text. He said ETA was early to mid Jan. Nothing could be done to get my order quicker. I was furious but let it go.

I was then contacted on 21st December to say my installation date was 29th Jan. I then advised the poor rep who answered my call my story of ongoing disappointment and lack of communication and he was empathetic. He said it appeared my order got placed by Jim after he spoke to me on the 30th Nov. SO MY ORDER HADN'T BEEN SPLIT AND NO ATTEMPT was made to push through my pre-Christmas blind. I then had a call from Claudette, who said Covid had had impact on time lines (Jim told me at quote time it actually hadn't). Also their business cut off for Xmas was 'before' I got my order in with Jim. When Jim visited he did not tell me any cut off's for Christmas and said get form in 'quickly'. I thought I had put it in quickly! Why did Jim not advise me of a cut off's POST his visit when he knew this is what I was aiming for? Why when I submitted my order wasn't I told I had missed the cut off? Claudette could not provide any answers but kept trying to defend Jim and tell me that I didn't get my forms in 'quick' enough. Fault was mine. She could not comment on Jim's communication but would speak to Jim again and call me back. I said if he could not offer an apology or admit accountability for lack of communication on time lines, not managing expectations, blaming the customer instead of accepting some responsibility himself, then please don't call me back, I couldn't deal with another call saying it was all my fault. I have not heard from them and that leaves me here to my review.
I can't cancel our install as I now see reviews about difficulties in getting money back from this company. Install is set for 29th Nov, but after that I will NEVER NEVER use this company or refer them. DON'T USE THEM. All charming at quote time then no care or accountability. The customer is wrong, and they don't do anything wrong.

We organised a quote in early December, happy with the price and also knew we would get a good job because we have used Victory Blinds before on another home. We were told installation in late January, due to one of the blinds being a French Canopy, but they rang early January and said they could do the job earlier than anticipated. The installation guys turned up on time having confirmed before they arrived. The installation guys, Bob and Spiro were totally organised and brilliantly efficient. No fuss at all and a perfect job completed. Cleaned up all the rubbish and put it back in the Van. Wonderful guys, polite and happy. Victory blinds are to be commended for excellent quality of product, workmanship and great installation.
Having now used the Victory blinds company on two different occasions, I speak with confidence and couldn't praise them highly enough!

Organised a measure and quote early Feb 2015, which I accepted in writing Feb 9th 2015.
The following week I was told they needed to do a re-measure (unclear why), but I was going overseas, so it couldn't take place.
While away I received an email saying they were ready to install my blinds. I contacted the salesperson, who indicated there had been a mistake and not to worry.
On return from overseas a re-measure was organised for March 31st at which time I was told the blinds would be made a 'rush order'. April 20th phone call indicated they would be available April 29th and a tentative time for fitting Friday May 1st was made (morning). I arranged for all existing blinds to be taken down, so now there are no blinds in lounge/dining area.
April 24th phone call from Victory to say no material was available for blinds....and wouldn't be available til end May!!
Asked to speak to Operations Manager, but told not available. Called Mon April 27th (twice) and left messages, no return calls. Called sales person but no call back.
At this stage it is unclear what Victory plans to do, but I will never use them again, nor recommend to friends etc.

Approximate cost: $5000

Insallation of 4 roller blockout blinds-4 are motorised. Plus 3 Sheer curtains
This has been nothing but a drama!

The initial consulation to work out our needs was great. The guy provided good options and solutions where other companies couldn't be bothered. 4/5 Stars for that work.

But this has all been undone by the rest of their processes.
Told about a 4-5 week wait for installation. It took 8 weeks.

Installation you have to wait for a phone call the morning of from 8:30-9:30am, then you are given a time. I had to help the guy carry the stuff in. Then told he can't do the job as he needed another guy to help. (So why did you bother coming in the first place?) Called Victory to resolve issue and told they can come back out in 2 week time! Got them to come back in 2 days, and this time the tracking for the sheer curtain is too short! Another call to Victory, only to be told it would take a while. After 2 weeks of waiting I had to call again to find out what was going on. Replacement is to occur this week (3 weeks later) In the meantime one of the motorised blinds has failed several times and would appear it needs replacing. Another call to Victory, yet again no apology, and looks like this will be another drama to have it replaced!

I needed 15 holland blinds (both suncreens and blockout) for my new house. We went and seen Victory who agreed to come out and quote. They did this and the Salesman was friendly. BUT it took over a week for the quote to be given to us and they Salesman called back 3 weeks later. By this stage we had a quote that was $2000 cheaper and the job was done in 2 weeks not 8 as quoted!

We had 'cafe blinds' installed on our outdoor pergola area. These are the heavy clear PVC blinds you see at outdoor areas of cafes & restaurants.
We got a few quotes but Victory were the only company who could make blinds large enough for our area. They are roll up blinds on a zip and pulley system.
Found them to be quite expensive; but they are excellent commercial quality blinds. Haven't had any problems with them at all.
