Travelled back from Sunshine Coast to Adelaide after a horrific trip up via Jetstar. Service was fantastic in SC - checked us through to Adelaide, provided extra bag so that overweight bag could be lightened. Had to page us due to slowness of kids(!!) but didn't get any negative attitude. Cabin staff very friendly and helpful. Half hour delay in Sydney well handled. Cabin crew good on flight to Adelaide. No TV on this leg which was disappointing as it meant it was difficult to keep kids entertained.
Aircraft clean and well appointed, friendly and helpful professional staff. Good food, great entertainment available during flight. More room than other low budget airlines.
Virgin have great flight prices which has encouraged me in the past to fly with them and no doubt I will again. I do prefer Qantas as a whole though as the staff and general atmosphere is more professional.
I have flown with these guys every trip and they are wonderful! great value and amazing customer service :)
Approximate cost: $150
i was flying back from melbourne and i had a relly good trip i love the on board screens even tho u had to pay for some channels
Friendly staff and great service, flights are very cheap depending on the time of traveling (season) Complimentey coffee on board not like other airlines where u have to pay for short distance flight will travel with virgin again
I agree, I have same experience with Virgin.
I've only flown with Virgin once but I think I'll be sticking with Qantas in the future. Their staff seem to lack the same thoughtful maturity when it comes to customer service.
I have travelled with tiger, jetstar and air asia and these guys actually seem like they want business!love the friendly and efficent travel and the way pilot will keep you informed of any delays!!
I flew back to Sydney from Adelaide and was surprised to see TVs in the headrests, the staff were alright the lady at the baggage check in was very nice, the seats were a bit more comfortable than jetstar but I couldn't hear what the captain was saying over the radio most of the time all in all I'd prefer to use virgin again
Approximate cost: $250
I recently flew with Virgin Blue from Gold Coast to Sydney usually being a Jetstar passenger I really don't think I can ever go back to Jetstar after being on Virgin. Their services is 100%. I found it so much better value than Jetstar. My child especially liked the little TV screens and I liked the complimentary tea and coffee (costs on Jetstar). For what you pay for a budget airline I was pleasantly surprised and will definately be flying Virgin again.
Approximate cost: $79.00

Concur. Have had too many bad times with feeling like a second hand customer with JETSTAR so VIRGIN has been my choice and have not been disappointed on my two experiences with them.
