'Artful' - Art and Mindfulness group session available in2017!
Wednesdays, 12.30-1.45pm and 8.15-9.30pm from 3rd May (until 21st June)
These 8 week group sessions combines art processes with meditation/ mindfulness practices for a different way to find clarity and calm in your life.
During the sessions we will explore:
- using different art materials,
- responding to colours/images,
- creating collages and identifying personal symbols
- non-traditional drawing methods eg. stencilling, frottage,shared drawing, etc.
The sessions will include a short guided meditation/mindfulness practice and the opportunity to explore a range of art materials/application methods.
No artistic skills are required and there is no interpretation by others of what is created.
The sessions are facilitated by qualified art therapist Caroline Curtis-Williams.
