Wattle park chalet is a hidden treasure amongst the beautiful gardens and wild life. An absolutely beautiful venue for any kind of function, or event.
Great service, great food. Definitely book a tour, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

As a florist, I work across many venues. I have worked at this venue numerous times and when it was my turn to get married, I could not go past wattle park chalet. Delicious food, really humble, beautiful, unpretentious staff. The day was so easy to put together.Honestly, I could not have asked for more. Thank you so much guys, and I will be spruiking your venue to everyone I come across.

We had our daughter's Christening and 1st birthday celebrations at Wattle Park Chalet just yesterday! And we are still on such a high, after the most magnificent day. We opted for the 2.5 hour Afternoon Tea package for 80 adults and 35 children.

The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. Nathan was just a pleasure to work with, and Cyrus was incredibly on the ball during our function.

The food is delicious!!! Absolutely top notch canapés, was a hit with all our guests.

The ambience is second to none. It's just so charming and oozes character. Such a warm, inviting atmosphere with plenty of space for everything. We had a mobile play center, face painter, lots of prams and children running around! But it was so beautiful and classy!

It's the small details that really impressed me. There was a portable ramp for my wheelchair bound mother which made things so much easier for her. Space in the ladies toilet I set up a change table for the young babies. A projector for our photos, and sound system for our music really added a level of fun to her special day. The timing of the speeches, cake service etc was so seamless. The staff really know what they're doing and have everything under control.

This review does not do the venue justice. It would be perfect for anything from a wedding, engagement, anniversary, birthday, to a funeral or memorial.

Fantastic venue for a special celebration. Me and my husband visited for a wedding and found it to be absolutely magical.

We would like to say thanks to the staff of Wattle Park Chalet, who were very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to staff who were very accommodating and answered our queries promptly. Elise was lovely, she always made sure we were comfortable and ensured the night ran smoothly. The garden was beautiful, it made our ceremony very special and unforgettable. The garden and reception looked amazing with the fairy lights, not to mention the photos! A truly magical and unforgettable day.

We had our wedding our Wattle Park Chalet at the end of August,and everything was perfect. We had about 140 including 20 kids, and everything went smoothly. The Managers were very helpful leading up on to the wedding. They had set up the room to our exact instructions and added extra details so everything looked perfect. On the day, Elise and the team were professional, accommodating and seamless. All our guests and ourselves really enjoyed the food and the quality was great! The drinks were good too. We are extremely happy we had our wedding with Wattle Park Chalet, it's a beautiful venue with lots of charm and character.

The room and whole chalet looked lovely when my guests arrived for my 80th birthday. My friend Grace had arranged camellias in a circle in shades of pink around the base of each candelabra. The waiters were helpful and polite and the food was hot and very tasty. The staff cut up my 8 cakes and placed the plates of pieces on each table so that people could chose whether they wanted gluten free or chocolate cream sponge. That was very popular.
There was much praise for the lunch.

The kids and adults really enjoyed the event here. It's a calm and relaxing place for events. The garden really looked very well decorated as well as the dining hall and ballroom. Will definitely reconsider for upcoming events.

Recently we held my mother's 90th birthday party at Wattle Park Chalet - a venue we chose because it was where she enjoyed her 21st birthday celebration all those years ago!
The setting was stunning! All the guests commented on the beautiful garden in which we enjoyed canapés, drinks and listening to my sister's quartet play light classics. Apart from the beautiful ambience, we were very happy with the professionalism, responsiveness and charm of the staff. We were pleased with the menu we had made from an excellent selection. Those on special diets commented on the tastiness of their food. It was great to be able to have on sight all the equipment we needed to run the slide show, do the speeches etc. The whole Wattle Park Chalet experience is one which I'd thoroughly recommend as it provided the most wonderful birthday celebration possible. During the planning process staff were easily contactable, very accommodating and pleasant to work with!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you for helping me out answering any questions when Daniel and I first viewed the venue for our wedding. Needless to say we both loved the place ticking all our boxes of requirement. I have people telling me they loved the historic reception venue with all the amazing features. And another thank you to Allan to taking us through the next stage of layout and things and ensuring that our wedding ran smoothly on the night just sorry I felt bad pulling him away from his family birthday but a huge thank you. And a third thank you to the chef, the food was amazing! And there was plenty of it too (I worried a lot bout this being cocktail) but they were not needed, it was plenty n so good. And for getting my in laws home safely after the wedding reception when their taxi was a no show. I still have people saying how they had a great night, thank you for it all.

Now that all the dust has settled after our wedding reception and many visitors have finally left Melbourne I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for a fantastic night and experience in general.
I especially would like to thank Allen for all his work in the lead up and on the night. Nothing was too much trouble for him and being in the events industry myself he was an absolute pleasure to work with!
I will highly recommended the reception venue to all my friends and clients in Melbourne and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again!

Our Wedding on the 9th of August was a spectacular Winter wedding. Jack and I loved the effort all the staff went to into making our day just perfect. They even managed to please my parents which is a hard thing to do!

We loved the food and the room looked exactly how I pictured it. Thank you Wattle Park Chalet for making my dream wedding a reality! You made us into the happiest couple in the world.

Having my wedding reception at Wattle Park chalet was an absolute fairytale come true. The food was amazing, atmosphere perfect and the day ran so smoothly thanks to the amazing staff that I could simply enjoy my day!
I would strongly recommend this venue to anyone who wants their wedding to be held at a beautiful location surrounded by parkland. The staff were really helpful and even had different businesses they'd worked with and could recommend, which made planning a wedding a lot let stressful and the people they had worked with before we're great too.

I wouldn't have had my day any other way! Thank you. :)

After my wedding reception at Wattle Park Chalet, I have been asked, if you could change anything about the day what would you change? Absolutely nothing! It was everything I have ever wanted for my wedding day and Nick and I couldn't be more happy with everything. The food was amazing, the venue looked so grand and beautiful and was a great setup, all the staff members were so wonderful and friendly and everything went so perfect it's almost too good to be true. Allen was a huge help throughout the planning process and went over and above for us. Our whole experience was something we will never forget. Thank you so much Allen and the rest of the team for giving us the wedding of our dreams.
