I would recommend this theatre, however, a couple of the female staff who answer the phones and are at the front desk
need to be more courteous, smile more and not be so matter-of-fact. Greet customers as though you’re pleased to see them and be happy to provide a service. Not so hard surely?

This is smaller then the bigger cinemas like Hoyts and Village they do have pretty good prices and pretty much the same movies. Unfortunately you can not see movies in 3-D at the moment. The cinema is a lot smaller which I like as there are less people.

Whenever someone brings up seeing a movie the first website I look on is theirs. It's smaller than the chain cinemas, but that doesn't really matter - still mostly the same movie (minus the 3-D, some later release dates and with more obscure movies), good screen sizes, hygiene standards and candy bar.
The seats don't have a place for your head, but they're perfectly fine.
The prices are fantastic.
If you go often enough I'm sure you'd get to know the people behind the counter.

It can be quite, I have been to several movies where my group were the only ones in a cinema, but there are times when I've had to reschedule as a session is already booked out.

I've always loved this place, and love it even more when a busy period comes along which would force me to miss the cinema experience for a lot of movies if it wasn't for this place.

No-one I've ever been with here has disliked it.

Approximate cost: $11 per person currently.

This cinema is cheap but also rather basic. My tickets today were in the first three rows (all that was left) and I'm wondering if the cheap tickets were worth the neck pain. This cinema does the job but not overly comfortable.

this cinema is clean and small, and the prices of movies are extremely cheap compared to the bigger cinema complexes, in fact, i think the cheapest in melb, and they also get the movies a bit later than other cinemas so if you miss out on a movie elsewhere you can often find it a week later here.

A great little cinema off the beaten track - at the back of the Pinewood shopping centre. The prices are cheap for just about all sessions, with bargain basement prices on weekday mornings. All movies showing are recent releases, though not always the absolutelatest. They serve tea & coffee, plus choctops, lollies and popcorn.

Approximate cost: $8

A great cinema experience. Lovely and cosy - not like going to the chain cinemas. The service is great and they are friendly too. The prices are very, very cheap.

I love the Cinema up at Pinewood as it has a cosy feel about it. It is quite small and doesn't have all the crowds that the bigger cinemas have. If you become a member (this doesn't cost anything) you will get your tickets even cheaper than they already are. A great place to see a movie.

A family-run business which actually supports it's local community. The seats are not top-of-the-range, but they are comfortable and the projection is perfect. The prices are very reasonable, and they have many (not all) of the latest releases just after they come out in the mainstream cinemas.

Approximate cost: $7.50
