Beautiful place, location is perfect, so serene. Although we went on cold, winters night, it made for a lovely, romantic evening. Food was absolutely delicious, serving sizes were more than adequate and of high quality. Most impressed by the service. Looking forward to returning there in summer

Food was delicious, would have been even better if served hot. We saw it sitting there for a few minutes before it was brought out to us. Lovely view, nice place for a function.

Waves on the beach certainly has the BEST location in Frankston, but two occasions of dining there, and one occasion of being turned away, has seemed to marr my opinion. Neither dining occasion were we permitted to eat outside on their beautiful deck overlooking the beach. It was baffling. That is their selling point, yet they fail to utilize it. The food though it looks good, is quite average and priced slightly high for what it is worth. We had a pleasant server the first time, but the second time, the older woman was curt and quite offputting. I felt as if I was bothering her by ORDERINGS FOOD! The third trip to the restaurant was on a Friday evening, lovely 30+ weather, sun had yet to set and we were turned away as they were closing. There were people still dining, and though we mentioned that we would only have wine and dessert, they would still not accept the request. Seemed like a poor effort for a place that could be so much more...if they just let it be!

This restaurant is aptly named as it "Waves on the Beach" As it is literally on the beach. Fantastic location with great views.

The service is somewhat hit & miss and the food is alright, so for a reasonable priced evening with a great atmosphere head down to Waves.

The location is great! We sat out on the deck at sunset. Was beautiful!
However, the service was not at all good! It took ages to get our meals and drinks from when we ordered them and they added things to our bill which we did not order. If we didn't look at it properly we would have been ripped off!
Overall, the food is good, but don't go if you are in any hurry to do anything afterwards!

Great place - the food can be fantastic at times, but then other times it's just average. The choc hazelnut brownie is my favourite. The view is amazing - have seen dolphins swimming by while enjoying my arvo tea.

I really like this place. The menu was good and there were lots of things i would have picked to eat. The staff were good and helpful when asked. My meal was lovely and the location was good too.

Great place to catch up with friends and have a feed. The views are fantastic, they help you unwind from a hectic day.
Basic menu nothing over the top but something for everyone. Service is great friendly staff to assist any of your needs.
You may have to book Friday & Saturday evenings to get a seat very popular.

Approximate cost: $20.00
