I feel Westfield Doncaster is one of the worst shopping centres in Melbourne. Firstly you have to pay for parking after you are there for 3 hours. Which to me isn't enough time especially whenever I go to the hairdressers and that takes over 3 hours alone. The max fee per day for parking is $30 which, is a rip off. Secondly the parking design is horrible. There aren't many parking spots and terrible to navigate.
There are only a handful of Westfield staff are helpful with queries. Many are quite rude and not helpful. I rang the concierge desk the other day to inquire a number and the girl rudely told me that the store I requested wasn't there. I had to explain to her it was and could she please check. She did find out there number after I asked her to look. The tone of her voice seemed like she didn't want to be there.
There are a few stores worth visiting but, overall to me is rather unexciting. I am hoping that they have some better quality stores to make it worth the visit.

I love coming to this shopping centre with my fiance as I feel its spaced out so when walking you don't have people on top of you. The range of shops they have are a great selection, I love going to the cinema's there and you get the first 3 hours of parking for free however if going to the movies get them at the box office to scan your ticket so you dont get charged.

Westfield Doncaster is an amazing shopping center. With state of the art facilities, shops and food court, it's very modern. The staff are great, the shops are fantastic. Some are a bit pricey, but there are lots of affordable shops aswell. Thumbs up!!

This is a new very flash shopping center. It is good for a "trip out" unless you have a fair bit of money or want to visit one of the very specific stores. The amenities are always clean.

The complex is new, clean and there quite a big range of stores from homeware to department stores to ladies and men's clothing and shoes.
However what i have experienced is although the technology with the lights for parking is awesome, there are still not enough car parks available.
This is a place that I normally go if I want to go shopping.

A week ago, i went there for the first time because I'd heard there had been a gorgeous renovation of almost the whole place. We got there early in case there was no parking, but there was, luckily. It is a really lovely place inside, but a lot of shops have some expensive things. We didn't buy much, but just looked around and it really was a nice place. It got busier during the day, but by then we went home. The were heaps of cars streaming in trying to find a car park, but there were none. When we drove out we saw a lot of bus stations and we figured that you can leave your car there in the car park and catch the shuttle bus to the center. It's actually quite a good idea and it might be fun to go there, and it would be a lot easier for other customers of the center.

Approximate cost: $Parking Fee: 0 - 3 hours FREE, 3 - 4 hours $2, 4 - 5 hours $3, 5 - 6 hours $5, 6 - 7 hours $10, 7+ h

Right at the moment, the whole complex is undergoing a renovation. Trying to find a place to park is impossible and there is only a very limited number of shops open. The reno is due to be completed sometime in October, but in the meantime has been an absolute disaster.
