They measure tread depth from ON TOP of the tread depth indicator bars. A scam to sell tyres IMHO.

Do not buy from Westpoint Hyundai in Indooroopilly. I placed an order for a brand new Hyinday i30 car with 3 months delivery time... 
- I had to repeatedly chase them for updates and delivery dates; 
- The fourth month in, I was told they don't have a car for me as the stocktake lost my order;
- Since my original car was unavailable and I required a car asap, they wanted to charge me a couple of hundred dollars extra for the wrong color car or the right color but a model up for $2200 extra! Both with an additional 1 1/2 months waiting period; 
- They could not guarantee I could get the car we originally agreed on if they would order it again, which would take an additional 3 months; 
- After getting out of the contract, even the deposit was delayed (was promised 7-10 days) and I had to follow up on it two weeks later, and;
- The delay cost me a lot in registration and maintenance on my current old malfunctioning car. 
Very arduous and disappointing experience. Poor management and communication, lack of responsibility, dishonesty, and unsatisfactory customer service. Went to a different dealer where there was no problem ordering my intended car with a guaranteed delivery.

over the last 2 years i have had multiple issues with my vehicle, paid top dollar for servicing's that I have proof were not done, had my car in workshop for 3 months awaiting parts and now again engine lights on.
This is not my major issue with the company. It is their total disregard for customers and absolute lack of communication. I have attempted all of the following with no contact. I have rung and been told would be contacted, used their website email service-no reply, used online chat option - promises that someone would contact me, and i have accessed the emails of multiple managers from multiple departments from companies profile and emailed them all directly and i am being totally ignored. I dont have time to be coming into the various caryards and speak to jnr salesmen. I find it totally hard to believe that sooo many avenues of communication that are available are totally useless, and can only believe that this company is overtly ignoring customer issues, assuming they will go away.
Car issues happen, i understand that, but a company needs to stand by its product and treat its customers with respect.
If your car is fine and you never need to communicate with Westpoint, then you will be fine. But if you expect honest reliable servicing's, or you have an issue you need to communicate to them about, then you need to run far far from Westpoint Autos

I Would Suggest Stay away from this Dealerships iTs a Fact that One The Excitives of this Business is a Huge Low Life and a Should be Held accountable in Fair Trades Court for Selling Lemonds and Lies Told By him Self and his seconf incharge also his Sneaky and deceptive Service Managers andHis Site Managers also includi nh Junior Staff as Not Forfilling Verbal Contract of Repairs or Replacement Parts or Spare wheels for Cars and Continuous False Arrogant promise of Resolving Down Right Lies Outcomes by his Sales Team who No Longer Work Which He Thinks its Not His Issue then leaving You Stranded There you will be Left with a Huge Financial Loss and Heart Ache , He Gets Wealthy and you Left with disbeleif and Greif ,I Purchased a Total of 5 Duds dam they are Great at Deception which he is the Mastermind, Luke Harker Belittling little Dictators Voice thinks he is God and has total disregard to Honest hard Working Money Paying Public Once u Contact him he doesnt even have the Human Respect to Face You. ..Big Thanks For absolutely Nothing LUKE HARKER...... He Needs to be Put to Task on Many Maters on Consumer feedback Importance and Rights or that's Right he Doesn't CARE.....

Do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else.
The sales manager told me cancel an order I had as they glad a vehicle in stock. Turn out there was no vehicle.
I’ve since purchased a patrol from another dealer just sent my car in for a tow bar at west point. You cannot get anyone on the phone. I’ve left multiple messages that I’ve been promised a call back which just hasn’t happened. No one knows where the service manager is so I can talk to him/her.
Avoid the grief. Read their reviews

Zero Star for Westpoint Hyundai Service Centre Indooroopilly. I booked the Service at 11 AM , went there 15 Mintutes early and handover the keys for car service. I told them I will be waiting in waiting area.... Staff mentioned that Car should be ready by 1230 PM
Aroung 1:30 PM When I asked the staff How long still I have to wait because My Car should be ready by 12:30 And Its been More than 1 hour extra and still haven't heard anything ...
Then The Staff memeber told me that They still haven't started on my Car and will take another hour or More.................. What a Great Service........ The Staff were very polite though......... But Seriously I am been sitting in waiting room and Staff even didn't bother to update me about delaysssss.........
Wasted 2 hours & 30 minutes........ And Left without car service ...
