It was a Saturday evening and a group of 5 of us went there for my birthday dinner after having a day trip in the area.

We were certainly not disappointed at the quiet, dimly lit, elegant surroundings.

I recently had lunch at wild oak with my partner as part of a winery/mountain tour with the restaurant's owner. We were amazed at the quality of the food, I had to slow myself down so I could savour it! I had the wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil, and my partner had the barramundi, both as delicious as the other. The service was equally as good, the head chef even came over at one stage to sit with us and answer a question about truffles (he even brought a real one over to show us!). The location along with the reasonable prices for that sort of outstanding quality (they use fresh, local ingredients, some of which I actually picked up along the tour!) makes it pretty clear why they have won so many awards. This is definitely my new favourite restaurant, and we will be back there very soon!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly but unobtrusive service. Food is SPECTACULER! Most dishes gluten free, but menues marked clearly for allery / light eating options. Very good value for money - even have $25 lunch deal!

I had dinner recently at the Wild Oak Cafe and it was a great experience. The location was beautiful with a nice garden view. The food was exquisite (i had the Black Angus scotch fillet) and the waiting staff friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Wild Oak.
