Took the in-laws here on the weekend to celebrate Mother's day. We had the 3 course special for $58. My Calamari entree was nice and crispy, the serving was very generous.
I had porterhouse steak for main- asked for medium rare but was given a very rare steak. Asked the waiter to get it cooked a bit more. He apologised and got it cooked to medium rare.
The Gateax dessert was quite delicious- I loved the hazelnut ice cream that came with it.

Great food and exceptional venue. I had my wedding reception there and Line was simply sensational in helping to organise everything. The food was of a very highly quality it was fresh and made to order for our wedding guests. Love this place for functions or lunch/dinner.

Used a voucher. Steak wasn't cooked how we ordered it. (Asked for Medium and it was somewhere around rare - medium rare). They took it back without a fuss and cooked it up some more and all was fine. Such a great location and fantastic views. Had a walk on the beach before to work up an appetite. Good portions - sometimes using vouchers means you get less food and quality but this wasn't the case.

We ate here with a scoopon. My partner's steak was undercooked and yet still tough - a terrible piece of meat. I make a better steak at home - not what you expect for a $40 entree. Very average mains.

We had such a great time here last night. The view is heavenly and the food was terrific and priced rather well. Very friendly and staff and such a welcoming and warm ambience here. Will be returning very, very soon!

Met with friends for the 2nd time at Windows. Very happy with the service, the food, the ambience and the price.
Most refreshing were the waitrons. They were all young but were very professional and attentive at all times. Credit to management too for employing and training such wonderful staff.

I recently dined in a large group of ten. The food and the views of the ocean were amazing. But the service was very, very slow. It took over half an hour for our drinks to arrive and we waited at least an hour for our entrees. Make sure you eat before you leave home as the portions are very small and it seems the service is very slow. Luckily we dined during the week when they had some mid-week specials otherwise it would have been a very expensive night out as this is not a cheap restaurant!

beautiful views of the mordialloc beach from the whole restaurant. service was amazing, we never had to wait for a second. although for such a nice restaurant, which was on the expensive side, i wasnt hugely impressed with the food and its presentation.

Young waiter had bad body odour and got the drink order wrong. Two indian guys were on duty but they seemed to need another staff member to meet and greet, rather than us having to wait for a few minutes whilst the older staff member was attending to the seated guests. The champagne was advertised as having a skewer of berries with it, but it was a toothpick with two halves of a strawberry on it. We were served with ONE small slice of breadstick each and shared one thin round of margarine between 4. The icecream was advertised as a nut icecream and yes it it had two large nuts in it. Won't go back

We were very impressed with the food, which was quite delicious and much appreciated by our family. We couldn't fault the service and the staff and manager were very much up to speed. We would really recommend Windows on the Bay for its fantastic views as a wedding venue.
