the best pies south of the bordere [ in my opinion ].
this bakery is unique, situated in a rustic building in the main street of yackandandah.
the pies and sausage rolls are a taste treat, the pastry crisp and flaky and the fillings are meaty and filling, cooked on the premises.
you can sit and eat indoors, right alongside display cases full of tantalising desserts, the cakes and tarts hard to resist.
a basic meat pie, and an apple tart made it a real treat for me, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
if motoring through this region, you'll not regret a stop in at this bakery

The pies are just yum! I had a steak and bacon pie and is was just delicious. They make their pies with wholemeal flour which I just love, gives it a nutty moreish flavour which is awesome. They also make lovely sweets too. I loved the lemon and ginger slice - craving one right now!

This is a bakery you should visit if you're in the NE of Vic. It's a picturesque town with generally friendly people. The bakery itself has a good layout with a row of booth-style tables setup on the left wall, with the vast counter on the right. The pies are great! The pastry is delicate and fresh, and the fillings are perfectly seasoned. They make a great sausage roll which is very unique in texture and taste. The desserts are quite good too. The price is about average and the service is polite and friendly. Get in quick though, they sell out of the favourites very quickly!

we always stop at yack bakery every time we visit our family in the area. excellent prices, delicious range of cakes, sweets, sandwiches, personally i am a big fan of the sausage rolls, so delicious, friendly service with a smile

Is my favourite bakery they make the best sausage rolls I have ever tasted they are worth the drive. The staff have always been friendly and the food is always great quality
