This place is classy! Since the renovations a few years ago this place has really shone. It has a lot to offer including medical services like physiotherapy etc. It's well priced and it's a quality venue. Staff are also perfect.

Facilities for the price you pay are great. Staff always helpful. Classes are fun, instructors friendly. A great community gym and pool. I really miss this place after moving across town - still haven't found an equivalent in my new area.

Yes this is a really good venue. The change rooms are always lovely and clean and the pools and facilities are great.

Ascot Vale YMCA has many strong points,
- it's price, both the pool and the gym access are well priced and affordable.
- their creche, my toddler always enjoys his time there and the staff are of a very high standard.
- the friendly staff, the people you deal with on the floor and in the classes are really fantastic and go beyond my expectations.

But it also has one negative, the maintenance of equipment is below expectations, exercise machines can be out of order for many months, and feedback to management about machines that require attention seems to go unheeded.

A great community fitness centre. It's not one of those lycra filled fashion parade Gyms. There is a pool as well and a great range of classes on at all times. Very helpful staff and have been very flexible with my membership as I have had long periods where I have been unable to exercise due to illness.

I bought a card for 25 visits, for use of the swimming pools. The pools are are clean and well maintained and there always seems to be room available to swim. All in all, good value I think.

It was really nice and clean and it was somewhere where you can just go for a little swim and parents don't have to be worried about where their children are in the pool or if they're drowning in the deep end.

Fantastic facilities and service at a very reasonable price. There is always something new happening and the centre really tries to make people feel welcome. definitley a community based gym (unlike Fitness First). Staff are keen to assist and are always available. Great pool, gym and facilities - a real star!!
