Great German food. The pork knuckle was good and the rissoles were okay. The beer is excellent, or so my friends told me, as I wasn't drinking on the night. I need to go back when I am.

The food here is unbeatable and depending on your preference they have mains from $10 (The Pepper Pork Pie is my favourite). We go here every chance we get. It can get a little noisy sometimes as it's pretty popular but the beer is always cold and the food is amazing. Parking is VERY limited but there is plenty Street parking in the back streets.

Approximate cost: $10.00 +

I love this place, the pork knuckles are outstanding and there is a great range of german beer and schnapps to choose from. They also do great german sausages and schnitzels. It does get very crowded when the AFL or cricket is on but for a regular weekend or weeknight dinner it is fantastic. There is also great atmosphere when the beer hall is open and the oompa loompa band is playing. Best german food in Brisbane.

Approximate cost: $20

The food here is incredible. Not just sausages and sauerkraut but a simply beautiful variety of dishes. I had the sauerbraten which was beautifully cooked to melt-in-the-mouth stage while my partner raved about the pork knuckle. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

Approximate cost: $25

A good place to go if you like German food and beer but it does get very buy and it take take a while to line up to order food. They have a huge hall with wooden floors to fit a lot of people and live entertainment with a German man singing and playing accordion. It's for a different authentic nite out.

Great atmosphere, great meals - tasty and a good serving size. The music in the main hall was very loud and very hard to have a proper conversation. The music however was excellent so that certainly helped

Fantastic ! Many friends raved about the food at the German Club and they weren't wrong ! The Sauerbraten & dumplings was a great dish and the portion sizes were large. We enjoyed the Knackwurst, schnitzel and spaetzle. Great atmosphere, great German beer. Only small detractor was that the music in the main hall was too loud for conversation, but we were moved to a quieter area when asked. Great service and great food - we will be back to try more of the menu items.

Approximate cost: $16-$25

This place has absolutely amazing food and the portion sizes are massive. However it does take a while for the food to come out but it is definitely worth the wait. It's a great venue with a lively atmoshpere for catching up with friends and the beer here is nice. Membership for the club is only $5 and it pays itself off as you get discounts on any drinks and meal. Definitely worth going to!

Approximate cost: $20

If you love your German food, the Brisbane German Club is the place to be. It's also great for German beer, which you can takeaway. The only catch is that you or a friend has to be a member of the club. Once you're a member, you can get discounts and come as often as you like. I personally love the Bratwurst and Sauerkraut.
