Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Sydney! I had my wedding reception here many moons ago in the function room upstairs, so naturally I was keen to come back and see how things were now. Was not disappointed! The food is still cutting edge and brilliant, the wait staff were amazing, the prices...still high, but who cares? Its worth every cent. The restaurant is clean and beautifully appointed. These guys are the total package!
Always has been an outstanding Italian restaurant and I suspect that it always will be. The food is sensational - some of the best Italian (not THE best, but close to it) I've had in Australia, and the wine list is extraordinary. And the restaurant itself is amazing. The views overlooking the city are to die for and really help to make it the ultimate dining experience.
Yes its expensive, but its fine dining and worth the price you pay. The perfect place for a very romantic meal.
One thing I'm starting to understand about these survey sites is that what works really well for someone on one site doesn't necessarily mean it'll work as well for someone else on the same site.
Your Voice is, for me, merely an OK site - it tends to be a little feast-or-famine in terms of surveys that I am notified of - for weeks there will be nothing and then all of a sudden I'm swamped with them - but reading through some of the other reviews apparently the trick is not to wait to be emailed but to log on every day. I'll have to give that a try.
Yes this theatre is old but it is absolutely brimming with character and I love it. I've seen quite a few shows here, the latest being Jersey Boys (twice - it really is that good), and I've never been disappointed with the seating. The lines to get food and drink appear to move pretty quickly which is a plus. The toilets are positively archaic! I'd say they haven't really been updated since the theatre was built, but despite that they have their own certain old-world charm (as unusual as it is to comment on toilets...).
Amazing food that is French and Spanish inspired. The Macaroons and cakes are to die for, and the iced coffee here will really blow your mind - its that good!
Service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are good considering the quality of the meal and drink.
This dining room is one of the best places in town to order yourself a great steak! The burgers there are also very posh, and the seafood is also worth giving a go. Excellent place to go for a dinner that will satisfy.
Awesome little gem of a café in Spotswood - they do great breakfasts and lunches in particular and the coffee is good as well. Its pretty popular amongst the locals and for good reason! Fast, efficient and friendly service, good food, reasonable prices...this is exactly the sort of café that Spotswood deserves!
Ok, so as far as supermarkets go, this one is the pits. It constantly has out of date items on its shelves and in its fridges, the store is dirty and dingy and poorly laid out, and the owners and staff just don't seem to care all that much. It always amuses to see the shopping trolley parked just inside the entrance that has all the "discounted items" for sale, which in reality are the products that they've discovered for themselves are out of date (as opposed to some poor mug bringing an out of date item back to them, which is something I've had to do once or twice because I stupidly forgot to check the expiry date). I actually thought selling out of date food was more than just frowned upon...anyway, its a diabolical store, and considering that the Newport and Williamstown area is well serviced by Coles, Safeway and IGA, its only use as far as I'm concerned is for emergency dashes for forgotten ingredients and the like. Avoid at all other costs.
Visited here as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine festival with a group of people, so understand that I probably didn't have the usual Campari House experience. That said, I was a little underwhelmed by the food - some of it was awesome, and some of it was only so-so, and really I expected it ALL to be awesome. More fool me perhaps?
The place itself is very nice and the staff were pleasant enough. I'd like to come back and try it for lunch or dinner outside of the MFWF experience and see what its like.
Situated within spitting distance of a beautiful swimming beach, Sea-Vu is a great caravan park with plenty of powered and unpowered spaces for tents and caravans, and with plenty of cabins on offer as well. I found the prices for the cabins a little on the high side, but then we were there during summer which I guess is their high season. The cabins themselves are just your basic caravan park standard, but they do at least have their own ensuite. I had a glimpse inside one of the deluxe cabins and that's where I'll be heading next time as they have air-con.
The park itself has good facilities, although there is no pool which was disappointing (yes I know the beach is right there but sometimes you just cant be bothered with the sand and salt water). The kids enjoyed the play area however.
