Great for that post-hangover breakfast on Sunday 2 pm. Nice big glassed-in front to watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. This place makes exceptional coffee and poached eggs, delivered by delightful and delightfully-tattooed staff

Cafe atmosphere fusing Eastern Block with Art Gallery with Amsterdam Cafe. Friendly personal service from the Austrian and Polish owners. Menu ranges from standard Aussie fare to traditional Polish dishes. Broad range of European beers at reasonable prices.

Named after the portrait by Winston Churchill (?), this little bar tucked in-between Chinese restaurants and Greek social clubs is a little gem. The retro furniture and beautiful leather-bound cocktail menus are a nice touch.
Lovely dining atmosphere, you can sit cross-legged at the back in traditional style. Scrumptious food- not just your traditional gyoza, sushi, sashimi, but also a variety of modern dishes. You can watch the Japanese chefs preparing food from your table
Approximate cost: $15-25
Rustic, family friendly atmosphere. Pizza prepared fresh, right in front of you. Only the best quality ingredients used. Interesting, delicious pizza topping combinations- personal favourite is the Venerdi pizza
