Decided to stop here for some takeaway after an appointment out that way. Ordered some fabulous ribs, authentic pizza and fresh tasting pasta dish. The next time we go here we will ask for extra sauce on the ribs (not because there wasn't enough sauce, it was just that it tasted so good we wanted more for dipping). We tried their Pep's Special pizza, very generous toppings, perfect crust, tasted authentic. Also tried their Carbonara pasta dish, very tasty. They have a massive menu, next time we will be trying their chicken wings. Give them a go, you won't be disappointed.

After reading so many great reviews my husband and I finally paid them a visit. So much to choose from, I tried their waffles, my husband had vanilla and chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce, I managed to try a bit. Yummo! Absolutely delicious. He said it was way to sweet for him, doesn't really like desserts. But it certainly was great after having a hot day out shopping. Will be returning.

I cannot fault this restaurant, absolutely fabulous food with such a friendly atmosphere. I don't think I can say enough, their food is authentic tasting, so fresh and you can taste the quality. Yummo! We had a banquet for four people at around $38 per person. Well worth it, the best way to try so many different dishes. Absolutely love their entree Pakora (onion fritters), I had never tried goat before, this certainly was a first for me, delicious! You can't have a meal without their roti's and pappadums. Everything was perfectly cooked, we didn't feel rushed, we just took our time and enjoyed every bite. This certainly is the friendliest restaurant we have ever been to and I definitely recommend you try.

Decided to go here with a couple of friends after reading so many great reviews. We were not disappointed!!!! Such friendly staff, quality food and generous portions, how could it get any better. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, I especially enjoyed their Amalfi Special Pizza. The oysters tasted so fresh, my husband didn't really want to share them, so I only managed to eat "2". Tried their delicious garlic bread (I always have to start the meal with some garlic bread). We all shared our meals so we could try a bit of everything. I have to say we all enjoyed the Calabrese pasta dish, all our meals tasted so authentic. All our meals were terrific and we will definitely be returning again.

I decided to try a coffee here as it was early morning and I had just dropped my son of at the Gilles Plains TAFE. I wasn't looking forward to the long drive back home. Well I ended up having 2 coffees whilst reading the paper, thoroughly enjoyed them. I had a look at the menu which looked quite appetising but I wasn't hungry at the time. I did like the look of the pizzas. My coffees' were great and re-energised me for the trip home. Very nice cafe/restaurant with friendly staff. Will be returning.

Decided to have a meal here with my husband whilst doing some shopping in the Burnside shopping centre. I have to say we enjoyed our coffee however our pizza was not hot when it arrived at our table, it was more on the cool side. I did mention it to the waitress so she took it back and within 10 minutes the pizza came back. They obviously reheated it, but the pizza had become quite crisp and overdone. Very disappointing, we were not going to ask to have it replaced again as the waitress wasn't happy the first time around. Will not be returningl.

Picked up a chicken, salad and chips from here on my way back from a friends house as I was running late and hadn't planned anything for dinner as yet. Unfortunately the chicken was quite dry and I have to say the salad was nothing special as well as the chips. The chickens are quite expensive at around $14 (not worth it). I was better off going to the supermarket, but this place was easier and quicker at the time. Overall, a very disappointing meal for all and will not be returning.

This review is for The Hahndorf Inn, Hahndorf SA

Hahndorf certainly is the place to go if you are in need of some German food and this is one of the places we frequent quite often, especially if we have family over from interstate. My husband always enjoys trying the German beers and I just love their cheese kranskys and bratwurst snaggs. My husband ususally has the mixed grill or scotch fillet steak - always cooked to perfection. Our only issue with the meals has been that they are huge and I have never been able to finish mine. So you have to make sure you have an empty stomach when you go here. The menu is quite large, they don't just serve german meals they do the usual pub favourites as well like fish and chips, steak and of course schnitzels. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Most of the meals are quite expensive, the cheapest being around $25. They also serve breakfast, which is great for the tourists staying nearby.

Stopped here on our way back from Clare. We were actually looking forward to returning to the cafe we tried on our way to Clare but it was closed. But I have to say we were glad in a way because we ended up here instead and had some great meals in a really family friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and friendly it made our experience a lot nicer. As for the food, well it was great. My husband had the surf & turf and I had the chicken parmigiana with the all you can eat salad. We truly enjoyed our meals and felt it is a great place for families, especially if you have young children as there is a playground for them and you can easily eat your meal whilst still keeping an eye on them. Kids meals were quite cheap as well starting from around $5.50.
Overall a great experience and will be returning when in Gawler next.

We had dinner here on our last night in Clare because we knew we would be having a great meal, as we tried this restaurant the last time we were in Clare visiting friends. This restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views, a great place to have some quality food. My husband had to have the Porthouse Steak and I tried the crumbed chicken breast which was filled with edam cheese with a mustard sauce, the flavour was like nothing I had ever tried before - delicious, loved the presentation as well. Real quality food is what you get here. They cater for large functions as well, a beautiful place for a wedding reception. This is a restaurant that we will return to each time we are in Clare and I definitely recommend to try them. Prices are fairly reasonable for what you receive - tasty, quality food.
