Japanese groceries. You order online and then either have it posted or pickup. Prices are REALLY good. I think a lot of customers may be japanese takeaways/restaurants as some of the products are sold in bulk.
I'm yet to find a one-stop japanese grocery store in Melbourne where I can get everything, but this carries products not stocked by the others (eg onigiri containers) so I'd definitely recommend it.
They also gave a free ito en drink on pick up today even though my order was very small, so good customer service also. :)
I came here for the groceries. It's a very small place but had a slightly wider range of items than other places that have Japanese groceries (ie indomart, etc). I got lots of different flavours of furikake here that other places don't sell. Also picked up some ajinomoto which I really pleased about as it's hard to find! Prices were comparable to other stockists in Melbourne.
My three dogs go to doggie daycare here. Initially staff spent a lot of time getting my one temperamental chihuahua to trust and accept them. I was worried he wouldn't settle and no daycare would take him, but now he fits in fine with the other dogs. The staff here are great. :)
After applying for a rental, they called me saying I was the preferred applicant HOWEVER I would have to move in early sign up for 2 years agree to a rent rise and decide now about it because there was another applicant waiting.
If you are used to "apply", "get accepted", "move in" just be aware there seems to be a negotiation phase after the "get accepted" with this agency where they will play you off against other applicants.
