Actually we really like the variety of different pizzas you can get. There are all the classics and there are also some pretty creative pizza inventions as well. I actually used the ipad to order the pizza online (ive never done this before.. so used to calling) anyway, it worked perfectly, as we had a knock on the door about 20 odd minutes later with piping hot pizza (good strong boxes, the little stands so that the lid doesnt stick to the cheese, generous topping amounts) and I paid on line as well so didnt need to muck around for change with the delivery boy. it's all these little things that add up to make this a tried and tested quality local pizza restaurant. I think this has the best laksa/malaysian food in town. Very busy place, right next to Laksa King, but slightly different vibe, as the restaurant is split over multiple levels allowing for little nooks to be created, rather than 1 big dining room.
I love the beef rendang. amazing flavour, super tender. Laksa is great too! great flavours and you can get a great feed for a low price if you order smart. never feel rushed once you get a table, despite the queues out the door. Take away is another good option and you never have to wait long. Local favourite!

Great quality and authentic food at Laksa King. Since they moved to these bigger premises a few years ago, they already seem to have outgrown their space. Constant queues out the door are not uncommon everyday of the week from 6-9pm which would be their peak hour. Right next to Newmarket station if you are arriving by train and next door to Laksa competitor Chef Lagenda.
Laksa King is the original though and very good at what they do. Pretty sure it is still cash only. Although most of the dishes are quite cheap, by the time you add the extras, entrees, rice, drinks, roti, etc, the bill can kind of creep up on you.
Busy hawker style and noisy environment. Very fun, very tasty food!

Actually this review is for the Rare in King St. There are 2 Rares in the city, one at the west end, the other in the east. We went today for a business meeting... 4 'gentlemen'. We each had a steak and shared a bottle of red. Each order was slightly different (cut, how it was cooked, sauce type, etc) It would have been easy to stuff if up but everyone got EXACTLY what they wanted and how they wanted it. Cooked to PERFECTION and very tasty. High quality and very enjoyable. If you are a bloke in a suit at lunchtime, you'll fit right in. Maybe the clientele mix changes in the evenings/weekends.

I have been going here for years, so thought it was about time I gave them a rating on WOMO. Very talented and qualified team. Consistently they have made the correct diagnosis and created realistic treatment plans for me. I have used them for a knee reconstruction (pre-hab and rehab), neck and back issues, etc. Easy location, caring team, super service. Wish I was healthy all the time, but I know where I'll go if I need help. Well done Kathryn and Bede!

Usually go here for lunch every now and again because it's close to work, offers freshly cooked Thai food, generous serving sizes, authentic staff and very good value for money. The cost is similar to some food court junk, so when you get waiter service and fresh meals, this seems a bargain. It will be a regular for me, for sure. sawasdee!

went there on a friday night after work without a booking, only 2 of us, so we go spot on a big couch next the window. Shared a couple of dishes. not amazing, but not bad either.. solid, very good. Wine list is huge and pricey. bought wine by the glass which always makes me nervous, but it seemed fresh enough. service was very good. I guess you pay more for the location and the ambiance of the venue. 8/10

This is a traditional fish and chip shop, just like the ones I remember from when I was a kid. Run by a large family (dont mean to be politically incorrect) 'european'. This is real old school fish and chips. We love getting the Fish Souvlakis and there are always more Potato cakes than what was ordered. See you there on Friday night...again!

Great spot for breakfast. Sometimes can feel a little crowded but actually this adds to the coziness of the place. The menu has creative dishes mixed in with traditional breakfast fare. We will be back! Kids loved the smoothies!

We converted our home from an old ducted gas heating system to hydronic heating. We got quotes from 4 companies before settling on Rob and Mark from Hydronic Heating.
We never felt 'sold' anything. The system design leveraged all of their years of experience and met our needs and requests.
Their focus was on doing a great job and keeping us happy, even if things didn't go as planned. (e.g. there was one panel location with very limited clearance and access from under the house. They persevered however and got the pipes connected... on a weekend... and with the help of their father). I'm not sure if other companies would be as outcome focused and would go the extra mile to make things happen so quickly rather than waiting for the following week.
Guys, we were genuinely impressed with your down to earth approach and enjoyed having you in our home to build our preferred heating system. Thank you!!
