I was expecting a lot more from this place to be honest.

We get $2.50, per dish sushi train at Chatswood. After reading some reviews I thought the sushi quality would be quite up there. Well, I'd say they were better than the $2.50 dishes but only marginally.

A huge portion of rotation were not nigiri. Of course this is expected with all sushi trains, but I expect to see 5 different types of nigiri, then may be some california rolls followed by chicken karage, several different nigiri followed by green pea pods or something.

For $3, it really isn't all that bad, but definitely falls short from being a top notch sushi train. Service was acceptable at best, had to wait a little while to order my drink, and believe me, i'm 6 feet 1, you can't miss me.

Wow, you can pick up quite a few bargains here.

Now basement books isn't a place where you walk in to expect a certain title. No, you just get in there, and be amazed with their pricing.

I'm assuming they'd have to move a ridiculous amount of stock to keep them in business. I'm thinking that they probably do, looking at their prices.

However don't expect to find specific thing that you're looking for, 1, they won't have it, 2. if they've got it, chances are you will need a ridiculous amount of luck to find it.

I don't mind spending my time in dollar stores. Couple of things I look for, comparative pricing, aesthetics, quality of goods and service level.

Now unfortunately even though the pricing is competitive, products aren't of the best quality. Some cheaper alternatives for what you see in some of other stores. Of course that doesn't mean their qualities are overall low, no, I just feel that they've a few goods with cheaper alternatives.

I didn't have any problems with the service level, not the best I've seen, but pretty good for a variety store.

I just miss the good ol' days where dollar store goods were 1,2 and 3 dollars.

Wow, not bad !
I finally had a chance to dine here.

Presentation of the dishes were quite nice, also tasted nice.
Friendly staff, loved the dining experience.

Price wasn't bad at all, but I've seen better around.
I'll surely be eating from here on a regular basis now.

This is a place which does a lot of things 'good' but nothing 'great' in my opinion.

I thought the beverages were quite good, food; not bad. Could work on their values a tiny bit.

Lovely seats for you to enjoy an afternoon coffee.

I remember a long time ago this place used to be in Chatswood. Compared to what we get at Chatswood, (rolls @ 3~3.40 here) the sushi here are a bargain and a half.

Decent taste too, you really can't go wrong with this place. A must try.

Food was quite good for the price. nothing special with their service, but I'm really not complaining with the 9.80 dishes. Offers a decent variety of dishes.

It's not just a sweet tooth house, no it's more than that. It's all that candy and the experience. You've got to take your kids here.

Be warned, it's easy to spoil yourself or those around you while you're in the store.

I actually had peking duck here.
Quality was better than most, yes but only marginally, serving wasn't exactly 'not generous' but locally I've seen better being offered.

Yes, they do peking duck, and they do it right, but I have seen better in my days. None the less hard to come by quality.

Oh and kind staff
