i was a bit dubious on trying this because of my experience with another Chinese place yesterday but as my daughter kept nagging me because she wanted some i gave in and had it. Im glad i did as it was beautiful. I like the idea of paying for your plate and then serving yourself from the bain marie as it gives you the choice of having as much or as little as you want of each dish. We decided to have a little bit of each dish to try. So we ended up with singapore noodles with sweet & sour chicken, Honey chicken, Beef and black bean, Mongolian beef and fried chicken. My favourite would have to be the Mongolian beef where as my daughter loved the beef and black bean. But it all tasted nice and the plate size was big enough for my daughter and i to share. It cost us $10.80 for large plate which i thought was a good price. The lady that served us was very nice.

Approximate cost: $10.80

i had been wanting to try this Chinese restaurant for a couple of months now but every time i was in corowa it was always shut. It was finally open today when we drove through corowa so i decided i was finally going to have it. Far out what a disappointment. The smell that hits you when you walk through the door is hard to describe but wasn't a pleasant smell at all. The restaurant was very plain with a few tables with a vase with a rose on each. There was a couple of chinese decorations hanging but that was it. I chose to give it a try anyway as looks can be deceiving. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice and i would have to say it was the worst chinese i have tasted. The sweet and sour sauce looked like pink water with fat in it and the chicken was soggy and didnt taste like chicken at all. The rice was ok on top but as the sweet and sour sauce was like water it had run right through the bottom of the rice. I had 3 mouthfuls and couldn't eat anymore. Even though the meal was cheap i still expected a lot better than what i received and definitely would not eat here again.

I took my daughter and her friend down to Coburg table tennis club for some training on Saturday and they learnt heaps. This was our first time down there and we were made feel like they had known us for years. Bruce is really nice and really good with the kids. He made us feel very welcome there. The kids spent 3 and a half hours rotating between different coaches learning different things from each one. It was only $12 for each child and i think this is excellent for what the kids got taught. The club is a decent size inside and has a canteen to buy food and drinks at reasonable prices. Was well worth our 3 hr trip down to go there and definately be taking kids again.

i recently took up one of their great deals and ordered some business cards for my daughter. It was so easy to do and i was very surprised at how quick they were delivered. The business cars looked awesome. I would say they are one of the cheapest printing places i have dealt with.

i regularly purchase fuel from this service station as it is very convenient and hardly ever busy so its always a quick fill up. The staff are very friendly and polite. the store is small but well stocked and is always clean. The petrol is a few cents dearer than a lot of other places, but seeings as it is no where near as busy as the other service stations i dont mind paying extra to get through quicker

I have just brought a new table tennis blade and rubbers for my daughter from Affordable table tennis and i cant be happier with the service i received. I phoned Rob and talked to him about different choices i had in the blades and rubbers and which one was best for my daughter. He was so helpful and friendly. I ordered the bat on Thursday and i received it on Friday. I just couldn't get over how quickly it was delivered. Will definitely buying more gear from rob in the future

i have had our car insurance through bingle for over a year and they are the cheapest i have found. I have just renewed it again and the premium only went up $12 for the year which i thought was excellent.
Everything is done online so the only way to contact them is through email which can be a bit annoying.

This review is for The Royal Dental Hospital, Carlton VIC

I had been in pain for 5 days with a toothache when i decided i couldnt handle it anymore. I rang the dental hospital late friday night and the lady that answered was so nice. she explained that they couldnt get me in that night but if i could be there before 845 the next morning i would be seen by someone. There was so many people there i thought i would be there all day but i was wrong. I was third person to be seen and the lady dentist and her nurse were so nice to me. They allowed me to bring my water into the cubical with me as it was the only thing that was helping the pain. As i was scared of dentists and hadnt been to one for years they explained everything to me and then extracted the tooth. I arrived at 845 and was out by 1020. For everything it cost me $25.50.

I went to the Over 50's club for the first time while visiting family in tassie. The eating area was very basic, plain and actually quite cold. They did have a small heater but was no where near big enough for size of the room. There was 4 adults and 2 kids at our table and there was a lot of mixed reaction to the meals. The kids said their meal was nice, but when it came to the adult meals that changed. I had ordered carbonara with extra parmeson cheese, when it came out it was very runny, no parmeson and was just bland. My sister inlaw ordered lasagne which came with chips. chips were cooked nicely but again the lasagne was very bland. The other 2 adults ordered seafood dishes and they were quite large dishes and they really enjoyed there meals. After the kids had finished there meals we asked if they could have their icecream sundae that came with their meal deal. We had to wait 20 minutes for the sundae to be brought out and considering there was only one other table of people in the pub i thought that took a bit long to come out. Overall the meals are very cheap but done expect to get an excellent meal.

My friends and I took my partner here for a meal for his birthday on Saturday and there was a couple of mixed reviews around the table. When we first arrived the restaurant was very full so we decided to have a drink and wait half an hour. When we went back in it was still very busy but was able to get a table which was near the entrance. We all ordered our meals at same time, my friends ordered chicken parma and a chicken and mushroom parcel. We ordered medium scotch fillet and sweet and sour pork. Ours came out in a reasonable amount of time but we were half way through our meal and our friends still hadn't received there meal. In the end my friends had to go ask where there meals were, the staff were very apologetic and also gave them a big bowl of chips for free. Both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I especially like how they used proper pork in my sweet and sour pork. both meals came out with chips and salad and were quite large meals. One of my friends enjoyed her parma even though it was a little burnt on the outside but my other friend didnt really enjoy his chicken parcel. he found it to be to soggy instead of flaky on the outside and to be very bland in taste.
You could help your self to dinner rolls at side bar but as it was so busy they couldn't keep up with the bread rolls and by the time we were leaving the bread rolls looked like they hadn't even been put in oven. for all our meals it cost no more than $80 which i thought was really good. Overall i think the atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and restaurant was well set out. Ended up being a very good night out
