This is my favourite pool to swim at in the area. The pool is always clean and the lane availability is posted weekly on the website so you can check out when the best time to go is. The pool is used by the school for lessons and PE etc, and also by a number of tri clubs in the area, so it can get quite busy at times. But the lane availability schedule allows you to check it out before arriving at the pool!
Change rooms and showers are available on site, for that easy transition from pool to work or uni!

When I lived in Broome, this was my favourite hang out place!
When the weather is consistently hot, you want consistently cold, awesome beer! And Matsos definitely delivers!
The venue is wonderful, with great seating and a view of the mangroves and the staff are all excellent, laid back and friendly! Food here is to die for, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack!
The curry hut is a delicious option and if you're around in october they hold an excellent oktoberfest party!
They always have great live music and an excellent vibe! But they do get quite popular in the busy months so be prepared to wait for a table, or get in early!

I purchased a Scoopon to this Indian restaurant, expecting a standard Indian meal. But was certainly surprised at the quality of the meal we received! The place is certainly in need of a re-vamp and a change of decor, but the food and service were definitely great!
The curries are aromatic, wonderfully flavoured and delicious! Our scoopon entitled us to one entree, 2 curries with rice, naan bread and two glasses of wine for $29 and we left the venue exceptionally happy and considering purchasing the same scoopon again!
There is a wide variety of choice in regards to vegetarian and meat options and also the spice factor.

A cute little cafe with a boutique clothing store attached! Every time I walk past this place it seems to be open! so whether it be an early morning coffee and breakfast, A delicious lunch or a late night cake and coffee.. this place is a winner!
I probably wouldn't recommend bringing your young children here, as there are no highchairs available and the price of a standard toasted sand which is quite high. But if you've got the money to spend, then don't let that deter you.
Great coffee, great food and great service.

Moved in up the road from this rad little cafe, strolled down this morning to grab a coffee to take away and ended up deciding to dine in. A wonderful vibe, friendly staff and great coffee. The place is decorated simply, yet effective and quite homely. Although I only had a coffee, I checked out the menu and they offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and are fully licensed for that quick knock off drink on your way home!
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed!

A great place to head with the kids on a hot day, or even a solo trip to swim a few laps yourself!
The kids pool is great! Shallow, shaded and full of spurting water features! And easy to sit on the side to keep a watchful eye! Ive never encountered a problem with the parking, always plenty of space and its free! entry is exceptionally reasonable, the same you'd pay any other out door pool!

Whether its a loaf of freshly baked bread, a bacon and egg roll after a big night or a fresh tasty lunch, This bakery hits the spot. Cheap, fresh, delicious and forever friendly.
The Vietnamese rolls are a big hit, as well as the cold rolls they stock at lunch. There is often a line, so get in quick!

Went here for dinner not long ago with my partner, the waitress was lovely and explained how everything worked and the best options to chose from. We ended up deciding to share a few things picked out some meat and veggies to cook at the table. Everything was delicious, easy, affordable and explained really well. We ordered just the right amount of food and left feeling very content with our stomachs and spendings.
A great low key place to head out to and enjoy Korean BBQ at your table.

This little vegan Japanese restaurant doubles as an art gallery for small local artists. The decor reflects the Northcote Hipster, with miss match furniture and marvellous wallpaper. The menu is somewhat small, but with plenty of variety! The dishes are delicious and and satisfying. I like to share with friends and get a bit of everything and a cold asahi to wash it all down.
It does get quite busy, and there aren't many tables or waitresses.But a great tasting, value for money Japanese restaurant close to the city!

I've taken my 3year old and 14month old here a number of times and they love it! We like to head off early morning when the farm opens so as to beat the rush of people and spend some quality time with the sleepy animals. Plenty of up close experience patting, holding and viewing animals from pigs, chickens, cows, sheep and goats to a cuddle with a guinea pig. If you're lucky you can collect fresh eggs while you're there. Quite a novelty for my two boys. We pack a picnic lunch and find a shady spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. On weekends there is often tracker rides, but you're combating a lot of people about. So if you're lucky enough, get there on a weekday :)
