I had been to a cheaper optometrists with a disastrous outcome so returned to Kevin Paisleys where they gave me a great outcome and even gave me the Health Fund equivalent rebate (which they couldn't claim as I'd already claimed that at the place I "shouldn't have gone to").
Approximate cost: $640.00
Have had them a few times, most recently to fix our (electrical) smoke alarm. They came quickly and when they said they would and did an excellent job. Were very efficient and reasonably priced.
Very friendly, happy staff who make great food at good prices. They also specially order in a magazine for me every week and often sell food for much less near their closing time.
Lovely staff and very thorough. I had a 'mass' which they weren't entirely sure about after taking the xrays, so they then did an ultrasound to rule out anything sinister. Reassured me that everything was okay.
Lovely staff, restful atmosphere and thorough testing of hearing. Plus there is no charge for the test. They are also very good at explaining things.
Approximate cost: $0
Have refinanced my mortgage and made it hassle free for me. They give honest, helpful advice and provide excellent service. They also have a follow-up plan so you can see them on a regular basis where they will help you keep to your budget.
It's always very calming in the gallery with heaps to see, from special exhibits of paintings to sculpture and varied collections. Just when you think you've seen enough, you go further into the back rooms and there's still more!
They do a thorough eye examination and the guy I see is really lovely. Is Scottish and I love his accent! Also the shop staff are very patient, as I take forever to pick out frames.
Every year we are there for income tax returns and recently had to go re the stimulus package.
Always friendly, helpful, efficient, save us/make us money.
I regularly take a carload of green garbage bags full of aluminum cans and the guys there are great, always friendly.
The prices are low at the moment (due to the economic downturn) but it's still worth the trip.
