We spent two nights at this cottage so my husband could participate in a sailing regatta. This cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Two double bedrooms, tv's, and a very wide outdoor shaded deck area with bbq and outdoor tables. Lovely location
This is a great cafe for coffee and food when in Hawthorne. There is a playground and large park near by and an oval is opposite Joan's Pantry. The cafe has been rebuilt a few years ago and is very comfortable for a meal or just coffee. A nice selection of food here too for those who have been out and about walking. Well worth a visit.
While my husband and I were waiting for our car, we went for a walk and a coffee. Enjoyed our coffee here at Hillbilly's Cafe which has good seating inside and outside. Friendly service and no pressure to hurry up and leave. Look forward to returning again.
We have just had our car's automatic system serviced here. It was done on time and the price was very reasonable. Much better than that of the dealership which would have cost much much more. Great friendly service
We enjoyed our lunch here at the Lockleys Hotel. A large bistro area with a good seniors menu. My husband and I chose the calamari from the Senior's menu. It has been a long time since we visited here and found it a pleasant outing.
The meat display at this butcher shop caught my attention and so I purchased the tasty sausages and some salami. Great selection of meat cuts and very friendly service.
Decided to do our supermarket shopping at Aberfoyle Park but we purchased our pink lady apples from this great greengrocer. All the fruit and veg was fresh and a good price. In fact the apples were a bargain.
Stopped at this fruit and veg market on the way home and topped up our supplies. Apples, bananas, pototoes were all needed and therefore purchased at this well presented and fresh produce store.
This is a great spot to visit both for strawberries and preserves. You can pick your own for a small fee or just choose a few of the wonderful jams and preserves that are on sale here. Great family activity.
This is a small gallery displaying aboriginal art that is original. The staff can tell you all about where each piece was painted and details about the artist. They make sure the artist receives appropriate payment for their work. There are also prints/post cards available for reasonable cost. Well worth a visit
