This review is for King Tutts Putt Putt Golf, Surfers Paradise QLD

This is a great place for tourists and locals alike. They offer three different courses so if one is busy then you can always choose a different course to play. The location is great as it's central to many of the hotels in Surfers. This is a great idea for a fun day out.

This review is for Jo-Jo's Restaurants, Brisbane QLD

With a great central location, Jo-Jo's is a great place to meet with friends after work for drinks and a decent meal. The meals cost a little higher than thr average, but that's not unusual for Brisbane. It has a huge variety of cuisine options, but there's nothing that gives it a really 'wow' factor. However, the location makes it very convenient for city goers.

This review is for Shearers Arms Tavern, Ormeau QLD

Classic pub food at its best. This tavern is all about hearty food that leaves you feeling good. The service is very friendly and the food is moderately priced. Great for a catch up with mates or dinner with family and friends.

This review is for Hakataya Ramen, Sunnybank QLD

verified email - 14 May 2012

This small ramen shop is always bustling with customers who are eager to sink their teeth into the authentic ramen that they offer. They are very popular and there is usually a line up with a 20 minute wait at the longest, however, it is well worth the wait. The shop is small, but the ramen along with the vibe make you feel like you could be in Japan. If you are a fan of ramen, I guarantee that you will enjoy Hakataya's.

This review is for Food Fantasy, Broadbeach QLD

Food Fantasy is located in Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast. It is a great value for what is offered. They have a great range of buffet selections and their dessert choices are amazing. A great place for large groups of people who want something moderately priced for a night out.

This review is for Max Brenner, Broadbeach QLD

Your mouth will begin to salivate from the moment you walk in and smell the aromas of their chocolate desserts. This is heaven for those chocoholics. This Max Brenner shop only recently opened and due to this, it does not get as quickly packed as the other Max Brenner shops, which was a pleasant surprise. If you have never been to a Max Brenner, it is a shop that specializes in chocolate based desserts and drinks. It is a must for those with a sweet tooth. In Queensland, there is one in Brisbane, another near Seaworld and one in Robina. I can proudly say that I have been to all of them, but the one in Oracle Boulevard in Broadbeach takes the cake!

This review is for Four Winds Revolving Restaurant, Surfers Paradise QLD

This is an all you can eat buffet restaurant, but it isn't one of the cheaper ones. However, the price that you pay does reflect the quality of food and the high quality in customer service that you receive. They offer quite a selection of foods that range from different cultural influences. Some of what they offer include roast meals, Asian dishes such as fried rice, sushi, stir fried noodles, a great range of fresh seafood, and many others! They also have a very impressive dessert selection as well. On top of that, you get to enjoy your meals with a revolving view of Surfers Paradise. It's a great experience and I recommend it if you're entertaining visitors.

This review is for Top One Seafood Chinese Restaurant (Australia Fair), Southport QLD

verified email - 14 May 2012

Top One is a great modern restaurant that serves traditional and classic Chinese cuisines. Their seating is quite impressive and well spaced out, with the interior decorated with Chinese relics on display. Both the Yum Cha and dinner menus are great. On all occasions the food is always very fresh and at a great value. The staff are very friendly and happy to help, but because there can be many other diners there at a time, you may have to wait for a short period of time before you are able to get the attention of the floor staff. This restaurant will provide healthy, filling meals as opposed to alternative fast food shops that are located in the same food court.

This review is for Ming's Palace, Broadbeach QLD

verified email - 14 May 2012

The Yum Cha is perhaps the main attraction of Ming's Palace. The food is really great if you enjoy Asian dishes, particularly if you like steamed dumplings. It is also quite fresh. However, some of the staff there aren't very fluent in English, which can make ordering a little challenging. The seating is also very ore crowded and needs reworking. Overall it is a decent restaurant, but it's more of a place for those that want to try something different.

This review is for Misty's Barber Shop, Oxenford QLD

verified email - 14 May 2012

Misty is a very talented local barber. The staff here are very talented and for the very affordable price, it is a very great experience. No appointments are needed and the staff here are incredibly friendly. It is a great local business that is open seven days a week. Please give them a try, as I believe that you will not regret the experience.
