My partner took me here as a surprise because it was once his favourite place to go for a meal. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice man, who took us upstairs to find us a table. The waitress upstairs had a very gloomy manner about her, so we felt quite awkward throughout our dining experience. When looking at the menus, we realised that we had been seated in the "restaurant" part of the establishment, meaning they had two separate menus - a cheaper, cafe style menu downstairs and a more expensive restaurant style menu upstairs. We were not told this by either of the staff so we were a little bit disappointed and felt like they were trying to get us to spend more money by seating us upstairs. All in all the food was pretty good; I had a chicken dish and my partner had a seafood dish. Just a "so so" experience...

My boyfriend had been dying to take me to fancy burger but I was a little apprehensive as I'd heard it was a little pricey. I was pleasantly surprised! The burgers were very good value, being a little more expensive than McDonald's but of far better quality. I had the crispy bacon and cheese burger and my partner had the "biggie". We were both very satisfied with the size and taste. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. Only negative was that it was a bit hot and stuffy inside.

My partner and I couldn't usually afford to eat here but we were given a gift voucher so we were quite excited to try out this well renowned restaurant! After trying to make a booking TWICE we were third time lucky to get in at short notice on a Friday night. Unfortunately we were only able to be seated outside which exposed us to the hot, blinding sun before it went down, which had us squinting to see each other (understandable though because we did book at short notice). I had the scotch fillet steak and my partner had the venison. I was very impressed with my steak and all the sides. Their flavours complemented each other perfectly and my steak was perfectly tender. Unfortunately C wasn't as happy with his venison but he still seemed to enjoy it. Staff were quite friendly and helpful, a larger drink selection would have been nice. Over all it is a lovely little restaurant with delicious food. If you can afford it, definitely give it a go! *Book in advance*

I was really impressed with these guys! I eat a LOT of pasta and when I came here for a quick meal I didnt know what to expect. Their spaghetti bolognaise was the best I've had in ages, even better than some Italian restaurants. My partner had one of their specials which had some more exotic ingredients. They looked like good quality ingredients and he really liked it too. Lots of options to choose from and friendly staff also. Will definitely be returning when I am in the area!

I have found the quality of the underwear from Bras N Things exceptional. My bras last for years. I don't mind paying a little bit extra for that sort of quality. The mt barker store always has a great variety of stock and lots to choose from. The only negative is that the customer service can be a bit over the top. Every time I go in there I feel like I am being pounced on and sort of followed! I am a big fan of good customer service but sometimes I find they take it a little bit too far. Other than that, I love this store and I rarely leave empty handed!

Since reopening in Nov 2012, Howards Storage World in Mt Barker have only continued to improve! Customer service is great and the staff really seem to know their stuff. They also go out of their way to help you, like carrying things out to your car or locating products from other Adelaide stores if they are out of stock. They have solutions for every room in the house including the garage. They also have loads of gimicky niknaks which are great as gifts for those people that seem to have everything! They also have a great rewards program where you can get $10 vouchers which is handy particularly if you are a regular customer. I always seem to buy something when I leave! Can sometimes be on the pricey side but I've found the majority of products are of exceptional quality.

I've been going here on and off for many years and I've found that they can be a bit "hit-and-miss". They're great with their foil colours (especially blondes) and cuts but sometimes I have found that, even when I bring in photos of what I want to look like, I end up looking COMPLETELY different. I had my formal hair and makeup done here and I was horrified. I looked nothing like what I wanted to look like. Same went for my latest visit. I asked to be "as light gold-brown as possible". I am now chocolate brown with the slightest hint of red. I also asked for my hair ends to be "jagged" (uneven) and not "choppy" but my hair still looks like it has been cut to one length. I've given these guys many chances and I think I've finally decided to go somewhere else. Recommendations would be appreciated.

I love noodle box in Mount Barker! The staff are always nice and friendly. The food is always delicious and fresh and I usually don't have to wait very long at all. It is also really good value (I can't believe how much they manage to squish into those tiny boxes! A small box is a large meal for me and a regular box is enough to split between me and my partner). I often eat here when I am in a hurry and I want something better than Maccas. My personal favourites are the Satay Chicken and Combination.

Fasta Pasta is good if you're looking for a quick, cheap meal out. They are true to their name; I think I was only waiting for a bout 5 minutes before I got my meal, which was great. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very busy, noisy and echoey and the waitresses don't seem to put much effort into ensuring that you are having a pleasant experience. I did enjoy my meal though.

This store has a lovely range of women's clothing for women 13 through to 50+. They have on-trend party dresses as well as casual shirts and skirts at quite reasonable prices, in my opinion. The only negative I would say is that the customer service isn't great. On the few occasions that I have been in the store, the atmosphere has been quite negative, as the staff are often rudely gossiping about other staff members or their personal lives which puts a dampener on my shopping experience. As a retail worker myself I can understand that it can be tempting to have a chat, but I think the primary focus when customers are in the store should be the customers' needs and giving them a pleasant experience. All in all, I have been happy with my purchases from this store over the past few years.
