Straight answers
Can you install an EV charger on an older switchboard?
Usually, but we will check the board's capacity first and tell you straight if it needs upgrading before the charger goes in.
Do you do emergency callouts after hours?
Yes, for genuine emergencies — no power, sparking, or a burning smell. After-hours pricing is on the website, not a surprise on the night.
How do I know if my switchboard needs upgrading?
If it has ceramic fuses, no safety switches, or trips when the kettle and heater run together, it is due. We will check it free while we are on site for anything else.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes — shops, offices and light industrial across the north. Test and tag, exit lighting, fit-outs.
Can you install downlights and ceiling fans?
Yes, and we will tell you if your existing wiring can take them or needs a small upgrade first.
What are your after-hours rates?
Published on our pricing page. You will never find out the number for the first time on the invoice.
