A garden lovingly tended is a reason to stay in your own home. Greenway looks after gardens across Melton for older adults and people living with disability: regular maintenance, safer paths and raised beds, and small repairs around the house. We bill Home Care Package providers and NDIS plan managers directly, so the only thing our clients have to do is enjoy the garden.

Graham Whitfield
Founder and horticulturist
I spent twenty years in commercial horticulture before my own father needed help keeping his garden. Nobody would take on a small regular job, and nobody would bill his package provider. Greenway started there, in 2018, and that is still the job: a garden kept the way its owner likes it, by people who turn up.

Mum is 84 and wanted to stay in her house, and the garden was the thing that worried us most. Graham's team come fortnightly, they know her by name, and she sits out with a cup of tea while they work. The invoicing goes straight to her package provider so there is nothing for us to do.
NDIS participant here. I have a plan manager and Greenway deal with them directly, which no other gardener would do. The same two people come every time and they actually ask what I want done rather than just mowing and leaving.
I did my own garden for fifty years and it was hard to hand it over. Graham understood that. He asks before he cuts anything back and he saved my late wife's roses. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Questions
Things families ask before they book
Can you bill my Home Care Package provider directly?
Yes. Gardening and light home maintenance are covered under all four package levels, and we send the invoice and care notes straight to your provider or coordinator.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes, for yard maintenance and home modifications. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants and deal with your plan manager directly.
Will the same people come each time?
Yes. Two people you will get to know, with a text before they arrive. If someone is away we tell you who is coming.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes, every visit. If you have a green bin we will use it first.
Can you just mow and edge?
Of course. Plenty of our clients only want the lawns done. The plan is whatever you want it to be.
Do you do repairs around the house too?
Small ones: a loose rail, a sticking gate, a dripping tap, a smoke alarm battery. Anything bigger we will tell you and point you to a licensed trade.
