Hot water system died Sunday night. Rang at 7 Monday morning, Dean was here by 9 and we had hot water again by 10. Price was what they said on the phone. Can't ask for more than that.
Quoted the job and charged the quote. We'd had two other plumbers out for the same blocked drain and both 'found' extra problems once they were under the house. Rowe's found the actual problem (tree roots in the sewer line), fixed it, and showed me the camera footage. Very happy.
Our old gas heater kept cutting out and I was braced for being told to replace it. The plumber explained what was actually wrong (a thermocouple, about $40) instead of selling me a new unit. Been running fine for a month. Will use them for the bathroom reno.

How fast can you get to a burst pipe?
Inside the hour for our core suburbs, and we will tell you the honest time when you call. Turn the mains off at the meter while you wait — we will walk you through it on the phone.
Do you do bathroom renovations as well as repairs?
Yes. Full renovations, waterproofed and certified, with our own tiler. Same crew, same standard, and one number to call if anything ever needs looking at.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. You pay for the work, priced before it starts. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.
Can you fix a hot water system the same day?
Usually. We carry the common valves and elements, and we stock replacement units for the brands most homes have.
Do you do gas work?
Yes — licensed gasfitters on the team for hot water, cooktops and heaters.
How do I stop a burst pipe before you arrive?
Turn off the mains at the water meter, usually near the front boundary. We will talk you through it on the phone.
