Purchased Vittoria CORSA N.EXT tyres as very unhappy with wear and puncture resistance of Continental GP5000's. Some research led me to Performance Bicycle as supplier and after excellent service over phone purchased on web as it happens at a great sale price. Now fitted these 30c tyres fit perfectly on the rims, look great and were super easy to fit without needing tyre levers. Very impressed with service, price and delivery time. Well done to all.

You order online, they take your money, they don't inform you that they don't have an item. You pay $10 for delivery of one item, and if you don't like it, you pay $25 for a return courier. What's the point of shopping from you online?

I needed to update my hybrid bike. I went to few bike shops around and looked on line as well. When I saw Steve at Performance bicycles, he spent quite a bit of time discussing my needs and suggested a wonderful bike. Absolute 1.3. He explained a lot of things which i had overlooked. I'd been driving past the store on my way to work for a few weeks and decided to check it out and I'm very glad I did that day. I took my bike in for a wheel repair first, and Steve set to work with expert care and advice replacing the broken spoke and fixing the buckle quickly. Each time I've visited the store since Steve and Craig have always had fantastic advice and great customer service and gone the extra mile to ensure I've gotten the best fit for my needs and they always take time to talk to me. Steve completely rebuilt the rear wheel on my hybrid when I mangled it in an escalator. Steve also recommended fantastic bullet-proof tyres to stop me getting punctures all the time and I haven't had one since! Craig went to great lengths to ensure I had an amazing fit on a brand new Carbon Frame road bike so I would have a perfect riding experience just right for me. I highly recommend the store, please check them out.

NEW BIKE DAY!!! NEW BIKE DAY!!! Dropped in to see Steve to purchase a new bike for my partner. Gave me a range of options and the pro and come of each bike at each price point and his honest opinion of each. Steve has been the first bike shop that I know of in Hughesdale and that got me interested from the start. He is well placed near a bike track that joins the Garniner's Creek Trail, the Hughesdale Railway station and the Rosstown Rail Trail. He looked after my wife's bike in a very timely and caring fashion as well as being very competitive in price. I have also traded up to a new velocipede, a new Avanti, and I am so happy with the advice and service arrangements for it. Steve's Riding Way is now my bikeshop! Give it a try!

After a mishap on my morning commute, I popped into Riding Way on advice from a friend. I needed a few repairs done and a fair bit of service work as my bike has been missing a bit of TLC. Steve was very friendly and informative of what he needed to do and how long it might take. After sorting out the mishap which included a wheel that needed truing as well as a new tyre and tube, I also got a whole component clean, tuning, cables and bar tape, among other things Steve ended up getting the bike ready earlier than expected and all at a more than fair price. Will definintely return as I have found my new local bike store

Met Steve when Riding Way just opened (previous location). At the time I just started riding again after 15+ years not riding. Steve was extremely helpful when I asked him those cycling 101 questions. He serviced my bike, and he gave me wonderful tips on the best/most efficient way to maintain my bike. This morning, I dropped in a new bike to be assembled. Very impressed with how digitalised Riding Way is. Super quick & easy for me as a customer to browse, buy, pay and book services. Steve/Riding Way offers very competitive price/best deal! I have great admiration for how Riding Way/Steve started the business and what it stands for & does for the community. What a great local bike shop. Steve was very helpful when the recommended bike frame for our daughter turned out to be too big and swapped it for a smaller frame no questions asked. He even organised a group kids lesson on Boxing Day so they could all learn how to ride their Christmas presents. He helped our daughter gain the confidence needed to be able to ride on her own in one short hour. Great customer service, highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

I purchased a new bike from Riding Way last week and the service I received was impeccable! The bike had to be ordered in from the warehouse but the turnaround time was very impressive, the bike was in store within 1.5 days! Steve was incredibly friendly and inviting and he had my new bike all set up and ready for the first ride upon arrival to pick up. Overall, very impressed! I recommend going to Riding Way for all your riding needs.

I bought a bike from Steve earlier this year. After only riding it twice I realised I'd made a mistake and perhaps this was not the bike for me. So rather embarrassed I took it back. He was really great about it, took it back no problems and gave me a gift voucher. Picked up my new bike today and couldn't be happier ! Good old fashioned service at it,s best. The store does not have that flashy interior, and massive stock, (that you pay for), but what it does have is expert advise and friendly efficient service. Had my bike serviced, the service was fast and price competitive. I would highly recommend this business.

Everyone's bikes are special- mine are a little more special than others. That's why I need a bike shop I can trust to look after my bikes. Riding Way is one such place. I can leave my rare bits there and know that they will be looked after the way I need them to be. Excellent service and knowledge for those trickier jobs. I am so glad I found this place. I found a Redline MX Mini & a Redline MX Junior BMX bikes online for the best price in Australia!. I rang to up and had a chat with their friendly staff and purchased both bikes online on the spot. I live interstate, but they couldn't do delivery with Redlines, so I drove from Adelaide to Melbourne to pick them up. The staff were so friendly they were going hang around after hours until I got there. Great little shop with all the best high end gear!. Thanks again, my boys were so excited with the new bikes, we had them on the race track with in a couple hours being back in Adelaide!!

When it comes to Quality or Service or Value you normally have to pick any two. At Riding Way you can have all three. First-time bike service customer at this store. The ride home felt like a new machine. All strange noises and vibrations gone. Excellent communication throughout the service process. Their website is really good. We'll be back.

I had originally planned to buy a mid-size bike for my daughter but Steve showed me a full-size (extra small) bike that had all the features I wanted (disc brakes, click gears, etc). After a test ride my daughter was sold on the bike so now it was just down to price. I dropped into a few other shops in the area and none could offer me the features I wanted at the same price. Even better, Steve saved me buying an interim size bike that would only need replacing in a year or two! While all this was going on, Steve also serviced my 29er and it's now running as good as new. All in all, great experience, highly recommended.

I went in to ask about getting a bike for my son. I didn't get any oversell or pressure (as I've had from some other shops), just the right information. The only "pressure" was after I went back the following week and bought the bike, Steve urged me to bring it back if there was anything which needed attention. "You've got 12 months worth of free servicing, make use of it". Now that is a refreshing attitude.

Customer service spot on! Chose my bike "love my Malvern Stars" and was taken through the mechanics thoroughly. Bike was put together for me without hassle and with a few extra accessories - nothing was too much trouble! Helmet was fitted perfectly and later that day I took it for a good ride. I ran out of footpath and ended up cross country-ing. The bike performed well. I was covered in mud - the bike was covered in mud - it was messy but soooo much fun. My bike stands ready for another day. Thank you Riding Way - I certainly recommend you.

took my road bike in for a service as they needed the gears tuned (shimano 105). it was ready in a day, with chain, cassetes, frame cleaner than I ever remember it looking. Gears shift great now. very happy with the service and the price. the owner Steve is a very approachable and friendly guy who is willing to have a chat. not the type to grab your money and chase you away cos he has better things to do. this is pretty rare these days. very happy with all aspects of this experience and I will be back.

Went in to replace a gear shift cable that broke on my roadie as I couldn't be bothered doing it myself. Riding Way did it for $25, and super quickly in time for a ride I had planned. Will definitely be going back there for future servicing of my bikes!

Purchased a set of clipless pedals and shoes earlier this year. The service at Riding Way was wonderful, Steve did his best to ensure the best fit, and that it was all setup safely and correctly. Steve's advice was valuable and clearly comes from a background of great passion and cycling experience . Very happy with the pedals/shoes (only one clip-stack Steve!)

Great shop and staff that will do their best to accommodate your every wish. Including ordering a bike at the last minute and still getting it to you in time! Always a friendly place to shop and have a chat. Steve is also a big supporter of Australian bmx companies and the bmx scene in general. Consistently putting on comps and jams with a friendly atmosphere that can only be matched by riding way itself.

I recently had a custom BMX race bike built at Riding Way, Steve really went out of he's way to do product research and searched distributers around the world for the very particular parts I wanted. Most shops wouldn't have been interested in helping me with such a particular build however Steve was excited with the challenge. The bike was fine tuned to absolute perfection, I have never ridden a bike that feels this good or had a retail experience where I as a customer felt so welcome. An awesome experience, I will happily drive 1 hour from my home to deal with Steve because I know im going to get good service from someone who actually cares.

Steve has always been completely honest and straightforward to deal with. Indeed, it's always a pleasure doing business with him! My most recent deal was to buy a specially-made high-end set of road rims for my mountain bike. Steve offered great advice, and even fitted the rim tape, tubes and tyres at no cost and without fuss.

Steve always fixes what needs fixing promptly, always at a very competitive price and without trying to "upsell." I have recommended him to my friends and family. Steve recently got a bike in for me to give my wife at very short notice and had it ready for me to pick up in time for her birthday. It also came with 12 months unlimited servicing. Steve is genuinely nice guy - love that he doesn't just give you the sell and genuinely helps - good old fashioned service with a smile. Brought two bikes in for service and he honestly advised that one was going to cost the same to fix as it was to buy nice and new (i was not surprised mind you - it was possibly 15 years old) - My Wife now loves the bike he recommended - loved that he didnt try and upsell to a bike we dont need - gave two options and explained the difference - my other serviced bike now runs awesome as well... So does my kids who I bought from him a year or so earlier...

Received great service from Steve, including a very prompt turn around. Suggested that we might need to replace the handle bars, then he found that everything was ok. It would have been very easy for him to just replace them but he was honest and I appreciate that honesty. I purchased a BMX for my son from Steve at the Riding Way recently and he couldn't have been more helpful! Being an experienced BMX rider himself he was exceptionally knowledgable and was able to offer great advice which made the decision making process much easier. My son loves his new bike and has barely been off it since he received it! On top of all of this Steve is extremely community minded and actively supports local schools. I would definitely recommend the Riding Way to anyone looking to purchase a bike.

My road bike needed service - head tube making noise, brakes needed adjusting and back wheel needed trueing. The small shop was close to home so I thought I'd give it a try instead of driving a few more kilometres to a much more bigger store. I was very pleased with Steve's customer service - it was excellent, the bike took only a few days to get done and rode like new when I got it back on the road. Also, the full service did not cost me a fortune. A day after I got the bike back, I got another buckle in the back wheel. Took it down to the shop again and Steve fixed it free-of-charge! I was so impressed with the service, I took my other road bike to have the bottom bracket replaced. Two days later, I got the bike back and the cost was minimal. I'll have my bikes serviced here again without hesitation. Very satisfied customer!

Hi Everyone, To begin with I want to let you know that I RARELY fill in these types of forms. However my experience at Riding Way and with Steve (the owner) in particular have been exceptional. Here is someone who genuinely embraces the importance of client relationships, riding and be a part of the local community. I would be happy to go back in to the store and not even buy something but just have the opportunity to meet and chat about riding with Steve. By the way the work he did on our bikes was amazing. Mydaughter was over the moon and couldn't help herself but insisted on going for a ride on her "new bike". My wife said that her bike felt like new. I can't give you a higher recommendation. My son bought a bike before Christmas, Steve the shop owner was excellent, we got a good price with excellent customer services, he checked our bike carefully and he put on a colour sticker on my son's helmet to make it match his bike, when Steve sticked the sticker on the helmet, he tried a few time to make sure the helmet look perfect. This is what we want, the quality of the customer services.

This little shop has a surprisingly large range of bicycles and accessories. It is located on North Rd which is very busy but you can park out the back. The owner is a keen cyclist so can give good advice and our repair was done quickly and efficiently. Worth a look if you are shopping around for a bicycle.
