I am new to the area & walked into their premises off the street with my computer problem/s. Hess & Chris could not be more helpful or friendly, quoting quoted two days to service & hopefully remedy my problem. I was kept in the loop with their progress over the two days & was able to retrieve my PC on the afternoon of the second day. For what was done to repair my computer I found the costs most reasonable. BMC have certainly gained a new long term customer. Many thanks again fellas.

Called BMC about my laptop which would not connect to WIFI. They advised to bring laptop in anytime and were able to resolve the matter within 24hrs. Great service!

I was impressed with the way my enquiry was handled at the counter. My laptop had refused to start and I needed advice on what to do, i.e., if anything could be done. The owner took it, connected a display to it and advised me of what options there were and the likely costs. He also provided recommendation on brands to consider if I decided getting a new laptop was preferable. For his time and expertise he refused to let me pay him. I was very grateful and would certainly recommend GMC.

Ive never come across such genuine, lovely, helpful, caring people. They have just given so freely of their time and knowledge and always do a first class job when i leave my computer there. Many times they have given me so much help and guidance that i have been able to fix many issues myself (and im not a tech person i dont even use a smart phone) I cant recommend these guys highly enough!!

Hess and Chris were amazing! Service was 5 star, I came in with a warranty claim for my apple iPad that wouldn't charge. Within 2 days i had a brand new iPad! Communication was wonderful, with text updates along the way. Greeted with a smile always. If you have any computer issues these are you guys, wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

I came with a problem to my Macbook Pro that I was told by other companies would take up to 4 weeks to repair because of backlog from COVID. BMC applied for warranty from Apple on my behalf, and had the laptop fixed and ready for pick up in just 4 days! I don't live in the Springwood area, but I'm coming here every time I have an issue with my computer.

I have found this business to be very helpful. They have twice fixed up problems that my local repair shop could not. Last time, Sasha (?) explained the problems patiently without using jargon or being patronising (which would have been easy to do and is my frequent experience wth techy guys), so that I understood the problems and the solutions, and was friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

The SSD on my desktop was rather full. I got a quote for replacing and cloning the SSD. The quote was very good and the time frame for doing the job was more than reasonable. I dropped the desktop and new SSD off at 9:00am and Chris rang me just after lunch to let me know the job was completed and I could pick up my computer. Can't ask for better than that.

Amazingly helpful. Hess spent 40 mins on the phone with me (at very short notice) out of his own time to assist me in purchasing the right computer and accessories for my needs, with absolutely no gain for his business. He takes the time to explain the tech stuff in simplified terms without being condescending at all. I have been there twice with laptop issues and the team there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They suggest the best option with no concern for what profit they might make. I would highly recommend this business.

Needed a new battery for a mac laptop that had a battery that was badly swollen. Apple recommended BMC after I was quoted $800 by another business in the CBD. I ended up being quoted a third of that, including parts and labour. Hass explained everything clearly and did a great job. I got my computer back fully tested and the replacement parts were genuine Apple. They also guarantee their work and tell you to bring it back immediately if there are any issues. These guys are our family’s new computer go-to business.

Blue Mountains Computers went above and beyond to solve my computer issues. I had a faulty power adapter and brought the computer in for repair. Not only did they replace the power adapter but cleaned the system and reorganized everything to make it more user friendly and run much faster. Their fees were very reasonable and I now have a computer that works much better than I'd hoped for! They even carried my computer from the far for me!

As a person who has been involved in computers/computing for 35 years, I was more than pleased with the efforts and advice today in the updating of a Macbook of some vintage. This included doubling the memory, a state-of-the-art faster drive and some software modifications and adjustments, all of which turned the "old" unit into something worthwhile and up-to-date and with a further life ahead. One could not have expected a better result. I would highly recommend Blue Mountains Computers for any IT matters. Professional, experienced and helpful in explaining how to assist customers. I had an extensive security breach on several of my families devices by a hacker. Their IT skills and experience to set up our devices securely was reassuring and great. My sister's memory card was stuck in my laptop. She entered the shop and said can you guys please remove this memory card and also do it for free? The worker said something like yes and maybe. He surely did remove the memory card and didn't charge her anything. In total it took about 10 minutes max. Lovely guy and if had any other computer issues would happily go there for advice and even pay them! lol Thanks again guys!

Serious start up issues with a "vintage" Apple Mac desktop computer. Apple store could not even attempt repair. Phoned a few companies however B.M.C. seemed the most genuine and knowledgeable over the phone. Dropped it in at lunchtime and got a call 5:00pm that day to say it was done. Both Hess and Joseph were a pleasure to deal with and though Springwood is a 50 minute trip from Beaumont Hills it was definitely worth the effort. I would highly recommend these guys for all your computer issues. P.S. The long trip was negated by the delicious bakery across the road next to the Bunker!!!!

Went twice with mac problems. Both times theyve been excellent. Affordable & reliable, never going to the apple store again. First time with a trackpad issue where they needed to clean and tweak it, only $80. Second time my max died, they did a quick test and found the battery had power stored up. Fixed it and told me how to do it myself if it happens again, and they didn't charge a cent for it. love this place.

My laptop crashed and my wife recommended Hess as she has used his business previously. He was able to look at my laptop immediately and told me what options I had. My iMac crashed at a critical time for my business. When I rang in the afternoon Hess said bring it straight in and he would do a diagnosis that evening. He gave me a very reasonable quote on a new hard drive, clearly explained the problem and the solution and answered all my questions. Because I had a recent backup, he suggested an alternative to a full new backup from the damaged drive which saved me $$. He also lent me a portable DVD drive so I could reload some critical software and get back to work quickly. Other staff I spoke to in that period were also knowledgeable and helpful. Strongly recommended!

It would be very hard to get a better place to have your slow, virus infected Apple Mac Desktop attended to. My computer was infected with many a virus from the "young one" downloading games off the net, making it slow and unresponsive. Hess took charge and soughted the matter out and my computer is now working like "a dream". I received good and informative service which is hard to find these days in the world of computers. Blue Mountains Computers gave me excellent service and I have nothing but praise for the way they handled my computer - the service was excellent and I would recommend this company to any Apple user which is having difficult with their product - Dealing with BM Computers was certainally far easier than gong to the Apple Shop in Penrith and the price charged for the service most reasonable. I very highly recommend Hess and his team. I had a hard drive repaired, data recovered, a water-damaged (well, beer-damaged, actually) macbook pro repaired, and a broken screen replaced on a macbook air. And I purchased a new hard drive too. Before approaching Hess, the Apple store had advised that the macbook pro was unable to be repaired, and that to attempt to recover the data from it would cost $2000. Well, from Hess I had my irreparable laptop promptly repaired, external hard drive repaired, all data recovered, and also purchased a new external hard drive for less than $500! Apple also quoted $780 to replace the screen on the macbook air, and Hess did it for $450 - which included international sourcing of parts, and contracting some work to a specialist! Thank you so much for such a massive effort and awesome outcome, Hess!

I spoke to Hess about building a website and signed up with him to have him build me one. Due to unforeseen circumstances on my part (completely 100% my fault) I told him that I wouldn't be able to go through with the build. Hess was really understanding and refunded what I had paid him and went well above and beyond what he needed to do. Even after this he was giving me advice on things which he wouldn't really receive any benefit from. His sole focus is clearly giving a great customer experience! If you want anything to do with computers he is definitely the best person to talk to in the Blue Mountains.

I rang Blue Mountains Computers last week with an emergency computer situation. Hess was helpful and professional right from the start. As I can't lift my computer, he collected and returned it (for a small charge) and was able to sort out my computer problems in time for me to carry on with some music arranging I was doing at the time, which had a deadline. He can offer remote access, which is helpful when reviewing problems. I appreciated his courtesy, professionalism, skill and experience (and his sense of humour!), and would highly recommend Blue Mountains Computers at any time.

I came in to hand in my computer or purchase a HDMI cable as I was having trouble with my pc connecting to my TV and I couldn't figure out why. Instead I was given a HDMI cable to borrow and test it. I did and it worked without a cost to me. I didn't catch the person's name who helped me but he has great. He made no money from me yet was still more than happy to give me tips and let me borrow his equipment. This guy has great customer service. I'll definitely be going back for all my tech needs.

In the end it was to far gone, but there was no charge for the hours of work and cost of parts that went into it, even though the offer was there to pay for the parts used and so on, Hess would not hear of it. Now that is true customer service, and I would happily reckon the business to all.

Used Hess and BMC as our Computer Contractor of choice for years. They have supplied new machines, repaired old machines, put in network backups, helped with network implementation and wi-fi roll outs and been available to resolve our problems around the needs of our business. Whether coming to site, us dropping equipment to them or logging in remotely, Hess has always worked to provide the fastest resolution to the problem. We have quite a lot of computers across multiple sites and BMC has helped with them all. They are our first call when something needs to be done.

I had a laptop that would not move out of repair mode. The staff gave me adequate advice and set my expectations regarding costs. The laptop was not recoverable but they were able to recover the critical data from the hard drive. Good value for money

My computer stopped working due to a hardware failure. Hess, from Blue Mountains Computers, quickly diagnosed the problem and sourced a replacement part. During the rebuild Hess tweaked a couple of things, and my computer is back to its best performance. The service I received was fantastic and Hess kept informed on the progress of the repair. Had fair few things I needed help with: 1. Had important data recovered from accidentally formatted Hard drive. 2. BMC helped me get rid of some kind of super annoying and disabling Virus remotely with out having to spend time to take my computer there. Which was highly appreciated. 3. Hess upgraded all of my computer equipment and now has it purring to perfection. He spend ages on the phone with Telstra trying to track down a missing line. On completion of install he monitored operations to ensure that there were no issues with computers. All of my quote options were explained before the job and it was clear, even at that stage, that I was in for the ride of my life and I have enjoyed every bit of it.

I had problems with my laptop- not rebooting properly, working very slowly, cutting out. I hadn't had it for long, and needed it updated and cleaned up! I gave my computer over for only a week and it came back as good as new- with some updates, new software and I know I will be calling BMC again should I have any more problems!

Our child care centre purchased and had installed a new computer to replace the existing, which is used to network our business operations. The technician from Blue Mountains Computers was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The computer was installed and the network setup without a problem. Our existing computers were synced with the new system and some unrelated long term issues were fixed. Since installation we have received an email and follow-up phone call to ensure that everything is going okay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to others.
