Zero stars- Terrible- they didn’t bother coming or returning my phone calls. ! I had a cleaner lined up for bond cleaning service (I was moving into a place that needed a thorough clean). The cleaner cancelled 30 minutes before she was due to arrive. I left 3 messages with Austral Cleaning (Johnson) and he didn’t even bother to call me back. I ended up desperately calling around and found another cleaner for the same day. Do yourself a favor and skip this company!

We booked their end-of-lease cleaning service two weeks prior the date. They didn't come. They didn't call to warn. We spent 3 hours to call them to know what's up. Finally, they just said that nobody going to come. Sorry. The worst service ever.

Sadly we cannot recommend these cleaners or this company. Their sub contractors were late, argued loudly with each other, charged us double the quoted price and then our agents had complaints about the state of the blinds which we had to pay extra to be cleaned. The magnet to open the child locked cupboards went missing and my emails have been ignored. Considering they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, we are very unhappy indeed.

This company should not still be in business, let alone making false guarantees they will not honour. An hour before the scheduled clean, I received a text from the Cleaner advising that she couldn't make it and asked to attend the next day. I advised her this was not possible, as I needed to hand the keys back the next day. I contacted [removed name] at Austral after receiving no response to my emails and was beyond unprofessional and rude. After advising I want to complain, I was advised several times that I can complain, but it won't get me anywhere. He then proceeded to ask what I am doing to fix the problem to which I responded it wasn't my problem to fix. He spoke to me as though I was stupid and I ended up terminating the call, as I was in tears. Do not use this company, as all the negative reviews are more than accurate.

Terrible service. Cancelled 9 minute before the bond clean was meant to occur, via text. Asked if able to reschedule to another day or if we were flexible which we are not as we had booked it to specifically fit our move out schedule. Would not recommend

I have had the worst experience with this company and would never recommend them to anyone. Hired them for an end of lease clean for a tiny apartment, was charged nearly $400 for them to leave surfaces, balcony and toilets dirty. Upon contacting them to come back and complete the clean (a service they promise on their website), I was completely ignored via email, and the customer service on the phone was dismissive. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Cleaners were 3 hours late. I was originally quoted $400 then the cleaner wanted $720. Cleaner was very rude and argumentative. I had to ask her to leave the property. I would never recommend this company.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. My housemate and I booked this company to do an end-of-lease clean. The initial cleaner - who arrived late - did an unbelievably poor job. Tiled floors left grubby, skirting boards not cleaned, kitchen left grubby and - worst of all - created NEW stains on the carpets they were supposed to clean. Here’s a detailed breakdown provided by the real estate agent: - Carpet stains to be removed - Downstairs windows have not been cleaned - Venetian blinds to kitchen have not been cleaned - Tiled floors downstairs have not been cleaned well - Splash back and oven have been cleaned but seem to have been wiped with a grimy cloth leaving smears / streaks - Skirting boards pretty much all through have not been dusted - Rear bedroom window frames to be wiped – the black marks easily come off - Rear ensuite fan needs to have cover removed and cleaned - Front bedroom ensuite needs IXL lamp dusted - Front bedroom air con filters to be cleaned - Louvres to shutters front bedroom to be dusted We contacted the company with these items and after several attempts, they responded to our requests and agreed to return to do the job properly. Different cleaners – three this time - returned to address the issues identified and, once again, the property was left dirty, the stains caused by the initial cleaner not removed, and in fact NEW stains had been caused on another section of carpet. Understandably the real estate was once again not pleased with the standard of the end of lease clean. Here’s the second list of things done poorly, which we forwarded onto the company to rectify as per their 100% satisfaction guarantee: - Upstairs bedroom carpet stain - Downstairs living room carpet stain - Flooring throughout is quite dirty however in particular the kitchen - Skirting are still dusty - Kitchen blinds still dusty - Laundry sink stained - Upstairs shower grimy By this point 4 cleaners had come through the property, and it STILL wasn’t done properly. After emails and several phone calls were ignored we finally got in touch with them over the phone and they now refuse to finish the job/fix the damage they caused or give us our money back. In fact, after proposing these option my housemate was hung up on. After paying over $500, we’re now going to lose some of our bond as the real estate agent now has to arrange a competent cleaning company to finish the job. Tell everyone you know this company is completely inept and are not to be trusted. The only thing they are good at, it seems, is to scam people out of their money.

After our first contact with Austral cleaning, we were very confident they would help us out with our bond cleaning. Being very pregnant I couldn’t do it myself. Communication started quite well, however In the end they didn’t live up to their promises. We were never notified that the job was finished, we found our belongings outside when we passed the house. We sent out an email for clarification, as I didn’t want to place a bad review. Unfortunately we never got a response for Austral cleaning. Through the realestate we found out that floor were still sticky and mirrors still dirty. Extremely disappointed with the service considering the money we paid.

I asked for a quote which asks you what suburb you live, how many bedrooms etc. After the the lady told me they wouldn’t be able to reach 2 metres after they climbed on a ladder and that they might add more time to the clean on inspection we agreed and I confirmed the clean, date and time. Come Friday (uplift day) I thought I’d email her in the morning to confirm the cleaners were still coming the next day. Then I get a reply that said I never gave them the address so she’d have to check for available cleaners (suburb was given on quote request) I didn’t hear back until very late in the afternoon that unfortunately there were no cleaners available that day even after we confirmed date and time a week earlier. By this point it was too late to call someone else as we were flying interstate on Sunday morning. We had no choice but to do the clean ourselves with 3 kids as we have no family in Brisbane. Luckily the neighbours were kind enough to lend us their large ladder and vacuum cleaner or we’d be stuffed! Absolutely disgraceful How the hell does this company have 3.7 stars? I should have a tread the reviews!

Only thing this company is good at is ripping people off. They are runny a scam. They will ask for advance booking but won’t do the job and won’t even return your money. I booked them for bond cleaning, which they said because it is a Sunday job they would require advance payment. Which I did, the company took full responsibility for the money as I was reluctant to pay the full amount in advance. On the Sunday the cleaner, did not show up and ever since ..not even picking the phone up. And not returning my money, all 435$ gone …just like this.

I wouldn’t recommend this business... no cleaning standards. I had to go around the apartment and clean the walls/ floors / microwave/ light switches, floor still looked dirty. I also had to chase up my receipts as i needed them for the real estate agent. Also my balcony was not included in the clean and I had to do that myself also. The website says ‘will make your life easy’, ‘satisfaction guaranteed’. Waste of $300 will not be recommending!

WOW! I cannot reccommend Austral Cleaning enough, our little flat was completley transformed it was like walking into a newly built apartment. The carpet, walls & oven looked brand new - stains that we couldn't remove ourselves dissapeared! I cannot thank Bruna, Raj & Sunkeety enough, they were absolutley amazing. Whoever says moving is stressful needs to use Bruna, Raj & Sunkeety, Thank you so much!

Our apartment was left filthy after Austral's poor cleaning job. They returned for a 'fix up clean', carrying only one mop and a tub of bleach (no sponges, wipes, vaccuum etc). They used our own cleaning products and took them with them when they left. Hair was left everywhere, the oven was dirty and the walls were not wiped. Austral provided terrible customer service and said it was not their problem. Austral outsources to local cleaners - in our case, not only did they do a poor job, they failed multiple times to turn up to our property when agreed and were uncontactable. We lost our bond money, and were forced to pay for cleaners from a different company. We lodged a case with the ACCC. Next stop, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

When they arrived at our rental that we had vacated they rang our mobile and demanded full payment, which we foolishly complied with. Then when we returned it was obvious that they had only done a superficial clean. The bathroom was barely touched, there was dust and the sink was filthy. When we rang up the company to complain, they said that they would send someone to come back. They rang back and changed the time, and then one morning we went to the apartment to let them in for the scheduled time and they didn't even show. Eventually they came, but did another terrible job. The cleaners are sub-contractors, and Austral does no quality control. We complained to the company again to demand our money back and got nothing. We ended up having to pay for other cleaners to meet the real estate agents requirements. So Austral took our money for nothing, hence they're crooks.

They did not clean the unit well at all for an end of lease clean. I ended up having to pay someone else to come through and clean again. I paid a lot of money to have the unit cleaned then had to pay again. Don’t use this service.

Reason for use: Austral Cleaning used for Bond Cleaning Ease of booking : Booked over the phone with confirmation via email. Staff were very courteous over the phone - particular mention to Johnson. Product as described: This is where things fell down a little and may have been to communication break down. One cleaner arrived instead of expected two. Despite this company dealt with the issue promptly and honoured original quote. Single cleaner stayed until job done. Quality of work: Very impressed with job undertaken and fully expect bond refund. John was my cleaner and he was excellent. Polite, punctual and accommodating. Highly recommended! Would I use again - Yes

Turned up for a 6 hour bond clean, inspected the property and agreed on price and time, took my money, but did not clean anything. After an hour I had a call from the company saying they needed me to pay another 10 hours because the kitchen was bigger than standard. I refused and they still charged me saying they had cleaned upstairs - they had not touched anything at all - not even a bathroom! Phoned to complain and they told me to send them an email but have not heard from them again! Do not touch this company!

I was quoted 8 hrs of labour for a bond clean. They were finished in 4 hours but charged us an additional 2 hours. This was due to 4 cleaners cleaning our house. It WAS NOT stated on our quote or the website that the labour hours are for each worker (4 hrs X 4 workers = 16 labour hours). They should be up front about this. NOT HAPPY! The only reason I'd give them 2 stars is because they did a good cleaning job.

My review is legit - BEWARE, DO NOT even Think of ringing this joint! Save your sanity and $$ money and precious time! You want facts - heres some food for thought! 1) Once they get your payment and if theres any issues afterward with (eg: You need them to come back because first time they missed alot of things to clean), you’re like the dirty walls and cob webs they forgot to clean and left in your property , whilst they laugh all the way to the bank with your money. 2) Telephone is answered by a girl who simply says “Hello” - Yes, Its just a “Hello” you wonder what kind of outfit this is? is this even a business? Sadly -Yes, its a ridiculous one. 3) I admit I did not really research this business or reviews. I gave benefit of doubt - that was a stupid move, so lesson is: stupid does stupid gets stupid! Do your research and Honestly do. not bother with this company unless you like headaches, bad communication from them, chasing your tail, getting frustrated, wasting your precious time. 4) They double charged me - it took me several emails and phone calls to try reach someone who wanted to take accountability for their stuff up! Then they had the audacity to tell me, its going to take 5 business days for them to refund money they should not have taken from me in the first place.! I got the money back 6 business days later - no sorry email or anything. 5) Totally shonky, unprofessional, waste of space and the stress of it all was enormous. I was already going through personal issues and a move of house, and then having these whats-its take up my time was the last straw. I was tempted to ask my hitman to go do some serious damage if they kept this act up and do not return my funds.

Unprofessional -SCAM - BE AWARE!!!! My home was left unlocked after their attempt at cleaning, damaged 2 bathroom sinks had to get a plumber out to remove the retractable plugs, damaged a kitchen matt with oven grease stains. They were hired to do a 3hrs spring clean extras inc oven and window tracks. They turned up 50mins late- After saying they would be stuck in traffic for 15-20mins, They did not do anything they said they would on the website. ECO Friendly -nope asked what products the cleaner couldn't understand me just said yes chemicals... No dusting, no vacuuming , spot mopped with a dirty mop leaving my floors more dirty then before they started, the bathroom showers are still dirty, both sinks are scratched and unusable due to the fact they jammed the retractable plugs into the sink so had to have a plumber remove them, skirts were not even touched, my kitchen bench has more dirt on it then when I left from them wiping with dirty cloths, the whole house needs to be professionally cleaned from what this cleaning service has left me with. I called to complain and ASK WHY MY HOUSE WAS LEFT UNLOCKED kept getting I'll speak to the supervisor and get back to you could you email pictures. I emailed again.They would not answer my calls so I turned my phone on private finally they answered and I was told they would email me in half hour, they could have someone come and have a look at the house. I Finally got a email saying yes the cleaner left the door unlocked and called me, which is true he did call and I RETURNED the call which he did not answer. So I call the customer care team. After days of back and forth emails they finally send me a invoice which is for the in correct time and price. I paid $122 cash not $74 I feel that I am not been unreasonable asking for a refund as this clean has cost me more then the clean itself in damages and I STILL HAVE A UNCLEAN HOME and DAMAGED BELONGINGS

DO NOT RECOMMEND ! I had organised this cleaning company to attend my property for an end of lease bond clean however they attended site and then requested a total of 12hrs work ! We are by no means untidy and it was just a standard deluxe bond clean. I then tried to get in contact with all three contact numbers and via email to then have no response. I finally received an email from the company hours later advising that the cleaners had left site without making contact with their office. I have now had to organise another company at such short notice and have to pay an extra days rent as I'm not able to hand back to keys on time, even though this was organise weeks prior. Very disappointing.

Arrived over 30 min late. Did not stay for hours I paid for. Thoroughly inadequate clean and window screen damaged. No response so far to my request for a partial refund in line with the hours they actually worked. Definitely won't use again.

After booking weeks ago, receiving a confirmation email and providing credit card details, no one showed today when it was booked for 8am. Tried calling to find out what happened but all phone numbers were switched off. Didn't get a hold of them until lunchtime, at which point they said they had no booking, despite our confirmation email and showed little remorse for not showing up. DO NOT USE extremely poor customer service.

I am a busy working mum and needed to find a cleaner. I looked around and read numerous reviews from many companies. I came across Austral and my searching stopped. I have only been using Austral Cleaning for a few months and have found them to be very professional, reliable and efficient. I love it when I come home to a clean and spotless home. The cleaner listens to my requests and I have been very satisfied with the results. I have also been impressed with the follow up calls made from Austral Cleaning Admin staff, to ensure I was happy with the service provided. Excellent work guys. Thank you so much!

We've been recently experiencing a rodent infestation in our house so I had Austral Cleaning take care of it for us. I'm surprised with how well they actually flushed out the rats. I would recommend this to anyone who needs pest control here in Brisbane.

I have now been using Austral Cleaning around two years for all my House and Office Cleaning in Weekly basis. I am extremely satisfied with the service. It is always slightly scary changing to a new cleaning company without knowing how reliable or trustworthy they are going to be. Fortunately I found Austral Cleaning for my all cleaning requirements. I have been very happy with their cleaning staff (Richard & Garry), who are always friendly and doing great job for us. I would certainly recommend the company.

Disappointed by unprofessional staff and poor work. Booked several weeks in advance yet they called to cancel carpet cleaning with less than 2 hours notice, staff were rude and unprofessional. Failed to mention $78 call out fee. Had numerous problems with quality of clean job, Management refused to send cleaners back, Still waiting for adequate response. Oven dirty, Marks left on walls.

We found these guys did get the job done in a timely manner while our renovations were just being completed..there were some things that had to be re-done which they did happily and everything was eventually cleaned to our satisfaction while preparing to put the property on the market in the near future..we will use them again, however we would be more clear on what needs to be done so its cleaned the to standard required..

I was dealing with them to get a quote. My enquiry clearly states I am after a bond clean INCLUDING a steam clean. Apparently the quote they gave me didn't include this AND they added an additional $78 'call out' fee which they also failed to mention. The emails were rude and I felt the responses were insincere as the price kept climbing.

Booked them to do our exit clean for a 3 bed house.We were told it would take 5 hours and it ended up being 8!They were very slow.We are not filthy people and the house was still not up to standard when they "finished".Cupboards,blinds,fans,shelving-all missed plus dirt still in many places.The management wouldn't agree to rectify the issues brought up by the rental agent unless we paid by the hour.Opted to go with the agents cleaners and learnt a very costly lesson.Do not use!Poor customer service and no guarantee like the site claims (unless you keep on paying until its done)!

Used Austral Cleaning to clean my tiles and grout. Terrible job done, grout still dirty, residue left on my tiles, had to mop 6 times before it was clean. Would not give me a refund. Management took 3 weeks to return my many calls I would never use this company again. DO NOT USE!!!!!!

We booked them for a bond clean, the real estate said it was the worst job he has ever seen. The house look as if they did nothing at all. After contacting them twice they finally got back to us a week and a half later saying there is nothing they can do and will not give refund us. The real estate has now taken it out of our bond to book another cleaning company. DO NOT USE AUSTRAL CLEANING!!

Don't bother Very poor cleaning job bordering. When a complaint was made , got the run around phone calls were not returned , recalcitrant attitude when I finally got hold of the management . Feel very much ripped off . Very poor customer service .. tell your friends & family .. Do Not waste your time or money .

Austral Cleaning , Short notice booking delivered very well. Reasonably priced. Carpet cleaner did a great job on rug I thought I had to replace. Recommended.

I was very happy about their service with few reasons, #- They used organic ( green ) chemicals when they clean my premises.I know very well, many cleaning services use cheep chemicals for minimise their cost. this is a good start to protect our environment. #- Other reason was they ware friendly and very responsible cleaners.

Not happy at all with the service. Booked 2 cleaners for 4 hours exit clean. They were there for 3. Had to get them back to properly clean the place to the real estates standards. Then still had to go back and fix things up ourselves. They do not do everything it states they do on there bond/exit clean checklist. The only good thing is that they offer a 100% service gaurantee so we didn't have to pay for them to come back. Although the job should have been done in the first place and we shouldn't of had to go back and clean ourselves.

AWESOME! Amazing quality and customer service. Totally detailed oriented especially for the price I paid. I've tried quite a few before and by far Austral is the best cleaning service in this area. After the service, I received a follow up from the office. The staff is extremely courtesy, professional and MOST importantly responsive! I will continue to use their service and recommend to anyone with full confidence!
