Why choose Hawker Chiropractic? Chiropractors are trained at University for 5 years and graduate with either a single or double degree depending on the University they attend. To obtain this degree not only do they have a full-time course load but spend the last 2 years of their degree working in school clinics where they are supervised by qualified chiropractors, of long-standing experience. To graduate from University they must pass all theory exams and also have provided hundreds of treatments and pass stringent final practical examinations, much the same as in the medical profession. Added to this, chiropractors must undergo 24 hours of further education every 2 years to renew their licence to practice through AHPRA – the Australian Health Professionals Regulatory Authority.
