Matt catered for our combined 60th - 70th some 3 weeks ago. The process was seamless , food was exquisite and Christina provided wonderful service with food , drinks and cleaning up.
We would love to have Matt back again any time.

We met on two occasions and emailed numerous times.
Every response was pleasant and timely in answering our many questions and ever changing menu.
What we appreciated about working with Matt is that nothing was too much trouble.
The variety, different serving ideas and price was outstanding.
Our event went perfectly and the best memory of the party is all the comments and reflections about the amazing food and the calm chef.

I attended a fund-raising project that the Canape Project generously donated their food and services to. The food was exquisite and the service was brilliant. Would highly recommend this organisation to anyone thinking of needing a wonderful catering service.
They catered for our daughter's Naming day, a party of 50 people, in our home. The food was delicious, with lots of great comments / feedback form our guests, the menu was fresh and interesting but within a reasonable budget for us. I found the whole process very easy and our need for very much input or correspondence minimal. You would hardly know they were there on the day except of course for the wonderful food and smiles that kept arriving from our kitchen! Thanks Matt and team.

We hired Matt as a Personal Chef at our Son's wedding on the Sunshine Coast. We were EXTREMELY happy with both the personable and professional service as well as the extremely high standard of the menu created.
Matt worked with us in providing the perfect, tailor-made menu for the Bride and Groom including full GF options. The comments and feedback from Family and Friends were outstanding.

Matt catered for my daughter Victoria's wedding at Moolloolaba. He came recommended through a friend, we really didn't know him. The catering was perfect. Matt adjusted the menu to suit our needs. The reception was in a unit so Matt cooked in front of us. He was very discreet, the kitchen was kept clean as he cooked, the food was just what the bride wanted and on top of everything else, Matt was a lovely man. We would happily recommend him to anyone. Amazing!! Matt was so easy to correspond with via email and phone as we couldn't meet in person before the function. I was worried he was going to get annoyed with my picky menu choices and constant changes but we was totally flexible and catered to every need. We had a very private wedding with our most treasured family in a penthouse in Mooloolaba, Matt was in the kitchen right beside us all night and I didn't hear a single pot or pan, we hardly noticed he was there. When he left the kitchen was spotless like he had never been. The food was out of this world, I can't speak highly enough of the quality of food and service Matt gave us. Everyone loved everything Matt cooked for us and all of the left over food was gone the next day when the family came back to the room for brunch. If we ever have any form of function at the coast I will go back to Matt. I can't thank our family friend enough for passing on his number to us!

We used the 'Canape Project' to cater for a dinner celebrating a combination of birthdays, wedding anniversary and passing exams. We had 40 guests and everyone had plenty to eat and enough left for seconds (for those who had room...). The food was excellent quality with plenty of flavour (but not too overpowering). There were even little unexpected touches like some awesome brittle in the pecan salad. The service was prompt, professional and courteous and our BBQ was left in pristine condition :) Many positive comments from guests with more than a few taking away a pamphlet..

Last Christmas we had about 20 family arriving for Christmas Day , As you can imagine I was busy working right up until xmas eve and didn't have the time , skill or patience to cater for 20 odd people.
So I gave The Canape Project a call. Matt provided us with plenty of mouth watering dishes catering for all foodies , suitable from young children to Grandparents we had an array of food and delicious platters including seafood and vegetarian dishes.
Not only was the food amazing , but there was plenty of it ! In fact we were eating all week !!
The Canape Project made our Christmas not only enjoyable but carefree and of course very satisfying , Matt delivered the food himself the day before , with any cooking instructions that I needed ... if any ... It was just too easy !!! Exceptional food and great value for money ....
I will always use Matt for any catering needs I have ... and I continue to tell all my clients and friends.
