The worst removal company I have ever encounted. Starting from the fact that they arrived at the wrong time , to the incompetent driver, to the filthy trucks which soiled my beds all over. On top of the problem that my goods were filthy when they arrived and Transcorp altered the arrival date three times, they left part of the goods at a depot in Melbourne! when i asked how this was possible, the driver shrugged and in his broken english said he forgot. ...this was after he said he did not understand! The job was incredibly simple. From Adelaide to Sydney. Only a few boxes and two beds. Please do not believe the raving reviews as i cannot imagine that they are true based upon my terrible experience.

They aren't. 100% agree the worst removal company, destroyed out bed - amongst other things - and left my wife who was on crutches without a bed and did not care less as they stormed out of the unit in a girly tantrum, all because they were "tired" as it was late. Spoke with one of their managers and asked if he was going to provide accommodation for her and he said he didn't have the authority, when I asked him to just pay for it himself as he would be re - imbursed by his company he laughed.
Lazy, incompetent, no ethics, liars and just plain useless.

Re Job # 25****

Transcorp went out of their way to help me with so many aspects of my move. Arthur in the Sales office talked me through all my options, helping me with cartons and the paper and tape and bubble wrap because I decided to do pack myself. He even arranged to have it delivered to me.
I only considered AFRA members for quotes, and found that Transcorp was the fairest of the ones I checked.
The day before the move I got a call confirming the time. The man who rang me put me at ease about some of the last minute questions I had. I was so stressed. I think he realized. I think his name was Adam.
Rick and Jordan were on time and were friendly and confident. They were in uniform and looked like something out of a brochure. I watched them move a few things and realized they knew what they were doing. They put plastic covers on my mattresses and couches , used lots of blankets and worked non stop for the whole loading process. Jordan smiles all the time!
I moved from Bundoora to Hampton, and even with what is nearly an hours drive, they moved my 2 bedroom place in what seemed like no time. Job came in at 3 hours less than what I expected and what was average for this type of move.
My only regret is that I didn’t just book them to unpack my boxes too. I’m still unpacking.
Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Re Job # 25****
I can only speak from our experience.
We had to move stuff equivalent to a 2 bedroom home.
Victoria to WA...our move was 3,400 kilometers!!!
A Car.
A Dog.
3 Family Members.
Logistics of big moves like this and will the "stuff" get there ok, etc, to worry about.
We had to get a rental home sorted out.
We then had to give them an address to deliver to.
Transcorp delivered everything within the allotted time frame of 5-10 business days
and there wasn't a hiccup. They actually had it ready to be delivered “early”.
Nothing damaged.
Had their own itemized stickers for every single item so as it was all delivered.
Florence from Transcorp was a delight to deal with, as was her Manager and the
initial pickup drivers Craig & Zac.
Would I recommend them again?
Absolutely!
Just need to be in constant communication with them and let them know when you
need stuff to be delivered and what it is you, the customer wants, and they will accommodate you.
No other choice.
Will use them again without a doubt.
A+++

Transcorp did a fantastic job of facilitating the transport of my furniture from an upstairs unit in West Melbourne to Toowoomba, Queensland. They arranged for my furniture, cat and car transport and allowed for changes to be made in the lead-up.

They made booking arrangements at a cheaper price for me through their affiliates than it would have taken for me myself.

Thank you!

Hi Stan,

My apologies for the delay in getting this to you.

Dealing with Stan at Transcorp Australia was rather smooth, I had my own reservations based on previous reviews however I was plesantly surprised at how well my job was co-ordinated and carried out. I was kept in the loop with changes concerning collection of my items right down to when it would be delivered which was the next day. Although on the expensive side for a backload the service was fast and reliable. A special mention to the delivery guys, they were lovely and courteous.

Re Job # 248***

Transcorp Removalists are outstanding. This was my experience:

From the beginning, the person who took my phone call was helpful and patient when doing the quote as I wasn’t sure as to what size truck I would need. The manager was knowledgeable and experienced, and assisted me to make the decision with helpful advice. He also advised me as to the cheapest options in relation to how many removalists (two or three) would be needed over an estimated period of time. His estimation was accurate and I was happy that he also followed up with a reminder text message before the shift.

Further, I was impressed by his attention to detail in providing my written instructions to the removalists themselves, as the circumstances of the shift were a bit complicated, and somewhat personal and sensitive.

On the day of the shift, the truck arrived exactly on time. The two operators, Shane and Dan were nothing short of amazing in the most literal sense of the word.

They were polite and careful, and very careful with everything. But the most notable thing about them both was their Herculean strength. I took a photo of one of them carrying a queen-sized bed base on his own as I knew that people wouldn’t believe it unless they saw an actual picture. It is not an exaggeration to say that I was astounded!

This was not the only example of enormous strength and superior ability to balance weight. A large timber wardrobe was also moved by one of these two ‘gentle giants’, and with great care. Nothing at all during the shift was damaged or even scratched - not one thing out of a huge truckload of boxes and furniture.

Both Dan and Shane worked non-stop, in a methodical no-fuss way. Considering how much they did - a whole four-bedroom house full of furniture - I was astonished at how hard and fast they worked. No dawdling at any point; in fact, I started to chat to one of them and with gentle courtesy, was reminded that I was paying them by the hour. You don’t see that kind of integrity every day!

Despite what must have been a tiring 7-hour day, I did not hear even one complaint. They were also helpful and patient when I wasn’t sure of exactly where I wanted something to be placed in my new home. Their good-natured courtesy was such breath of fresh air in the world of business. Genuinely respectful, my whole experience of the stressful process of shifting was made so much easier.

These two men showed the same care at the end of the job as they did from the start. After all the items had been unloaded, I found it surprising to watch the meticulous way they folded the blankets used to wrap/protect the furniture.

The next day, I telephoned to thank the management for the professional and timely way that my shift was done - and received the same courteous attention from a different telephonist. He took notes and ensured my message was passed on in the way that I’d said it.

I would recommend Transcorp unreservedly. I am sure that, considering the high calibre of the service that I received at each stage of the process, all the staff in this company are as equally well-versed in doing what they do. Nonetheless, I will request Dan and Shane in any future move as they are both fantastic.
