"Allan and Coco from Handymantastic were our god send. After having lots of trouble with builders responding to phone calls and emails or even following up quotes, Allan was such a breeze to deal with. From the initial visit he contacted me straight away to follow up on timings and costs and gave me a date they could start. From there he kept the communication lines open the entire time so I could contact him with various questions/concerns as in the lead up to the project starting. We had new requests as we went through the renovation and Allan and Coco never said no, they always worked to try and fulfil the new requests or offer great ideas for our spaces to work them to the maximum. We had holidays booked for two weeks overseas, and Allan and Coco were entrusted our house which we lived in the entire renovation. We received progress updates and I could call/contact Allan as I needed to which was really nice given we weren’t there to see it all coming along. Allan tried to ensure we cut costs wherever we could without compromising quality. I really appreciated this a lot. We would do debriefs in the morning with the boys so we knew what would be happening that day and what they would be achieving and what they had worked on the day before. This was really important for us as we knew we needed things a specific way as we had quite a bitsy renovation with lots of small weird spaces. Allan also acted like a project manager for us in managing other trades and recommending other trades or even finding them for us. This made things so much easier as I didn’t have to worry about that part of the renovation given I didn’t pay for a project manager to do it for us. He also was always available when I needed him to be there for someone to pick up an item that I had sold, or for different trades that I was speaking to come in and quote etc. Allan has great ideas, and is reliable and super trustworthy. He wants the best outcome for his client in the renovation. They were also really great at trying to keep everything clean and laying down drop sheets given we had a toddler and ensuring we still felt comfortable in our house. Through this experience, Allan and Coco have become great friends and we trust them entirely and would thoroughly recommend their services. "

"Allan and his team are fantastic and I would highly recommend them! Within the first hour of posting my job ad on a Saturday morning, Allan was in touch. He was quick, responsive and scheduled a site visit the same morning. My house had a lot of termite damage and I was looking for a builder I could trust with the renovation. Allan was honest and upfront about what needed immediate attention. He listened to me and was realistic about the job at hand, the cost and the completion date. Allan is professional, a great communicator, very knowledgeable and takes immense pride in his work. Once the renovations began, each morning Allan gave me an update of what was to take place that day and what was scheduled for the rest of the week. If and when there were any roadblocks, he communicated with me straightaway and always had a solution for everything.
