The staff at Gold Coast Vet Surgery are very friendly and helpful, with a genuine love of animals and care for their health. The staff described all my options clearly without being pushy or over-educating. Their level of knowledge was extremely high and they took a lot of time with me and my new puppy :)

The staff and vets are so caring, kind and willing to spend time with you and explain everything concerning treatment of your pet. Nothing is too much trouble.

I took my brand new Golden Retriever puppy to Kevin and his team for the first time today. My biggest worry was that the girls were going to steal her from me! The service was fantastic and Kevin was very approachable and answered all my questions thoroughly. Would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone!

Kevin and his team are caring, experienced and genuinely committed to the health and wellbeing of your pet. They have consistently cared for three of our dogs since we moved here in 2009 and they really do go above and beyond what you would expect. Their new facilities are first rate. Your pet could not be in better hands and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

We took our 12 year old Bichon Frise to this amazing surgery today. From my first phone call with an inquiry about what was wrong with my dog to when we arrived at the surgery and the office manager coming out to say hello to us and our dog to Dr Kevin Cruickshank was all positive. I am very pleased I did my research and found such a great team to look after my old dog in her final years.

What I liked the most was that Dr Kevin actually listened to everything and gave you options and sensible to your budget (everyone has a different budget/ideas).

We also have a 9 year old Bichon Frise that I will not hesitate to taking there too.

It's good to find someone you have faith in and trust with your treasured fur kids.

We have been taking our dog Storm to Dr Rod at the Gold Coast vet surgery for the past year since we got him as a small puppy after being recommended by friends and the pet store. He is the best vet I've come across and always takes the time to explain everything to you and is amazing with our dog. All the girls that work there are lovely and caring! They are always friendly and come up to Stormy and give him a pat or treats when we come in. Our dog recently had surgery there and still gets excited even after that when we take him for check ups! The last check up we had was with Dr Kevin after his op and he was great too, both vets take the time to talk to you and help you with any concerns you might have and genuinely care about your pet. Definitely recommend them to all our friends and have nothing negative to say, will continue to go there for the future! Always feel good knowing our dog is in good hands with them!

Dr Kevin and his wife Fiona are fantastic and we highly recommend them. Kevin is the first Gold Coast Vet in recent times to actually acknowledge our dog and show genuine care for him rather than just conducting a routine service. The care shown throughout a very difficult couple of weeks for us as well as the follow up calls at home to track our dog's progress were just great.

In a nutshell, our dog was in serious medical trouble, we had no idea what was wrong with him, and together we were able to troubleshoot the issue calmly. We also received updated advice and dosing instructions to bring our dog back from the brink. Kevin and Fiona are also very humble and were comfortable to deal with when discussing our dog's situation.

As a customer, the service from the whole team has been great, pricing for services is very fair and we walked away feeling that we were a friend rather than just another customer. We will definitely be returning, hopefully only for some of the more routine yearly visits rather than emergency ones.

Kevin always exceeds our expectations and will do everything he can to help our loved ones. I am so glad that I went to this surgery before any of the others because I received the highest level of customer service and the most professional veterinarian. He is also exceptionally great with our Guinea Pigs. It is difficult to find a vet skilled with Guinea Pigs and Kevin is always there to help and treat our little babies. Kevin and his team are absolutely amazing. They offer exceptional, personalised and caring service. They understand the "special" pet owner who is stressed about their pet undergoing any type of surgery at the age of 13. Our dog has never been better since her surgery. They kept us informed with progress reports on the day of our dog's operation and their follow up is excellent. Everything is explained in detail and there are no surprises. This would be the best Vet on the Gold Coast. The staff are friendly and caring the vets are incredible, I would not trust my dogs to anyone else. Their professional approach to treatment and also aftercare is brilliant.
