I seem to have had alot of bad experiences at this particular woolworths, which has been my local supermarket for over 20 years now. I went there recently with a list of vegetables and spices i wanted and was able to only find 1 item in stock. VERY annoying. Plus the 9pm closing every night is ALSO annoying (used to be 10pm and 11pm depending on the day). I have been asked to open my bag for searching so many times i cannot count - despite being a regular customer for decades - and thats also very annoying.....and somewhat insulting as well....recently, when a special had ended, but the tag was still on the shelf, and i had seen only the shelf and wanted to know why it wouldn't scan at shelf price, they accused me of bring the shelf ticket into the store...! Instead of saying special was over.....quite a strange store indeed in my opinion.

This charcoal chicken shop has been a mainstay of Argyle Street since i moved to the area in 1990, its just great! Chicken, Chips and Salads are the product and been attracting return customers i've seen for over 20 years! Top Shop

I have issues with the no self-service checkouts and usual long-waiting times on the express checkout. Not enough staff often is a problem. Plus by evenings there is never much left in the bakery and they don't discount enough.....

The Pizza is good, the crust is really tasty. But the overall service is pretty average, and its never a bargain.
