This is my favourite Thai restaurant in Launceston. The meals are excellent, with the most aromatic and diverse flavours. and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are always friendly, the service is good, and the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. This restaurant is licensed as well as BYO (and there is a bottle shop next door if you want your favourite bottle of wine!)

An excellent place to dine! This large restaurant offers the best steaks we have eaten, and have a reputation far and wide for their steaks. They also serve a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes. They offer a large variety of delicious, freshly prepared salads for self serve. They boast an extensive variety of wines, both local and otherwise. They do not take small bookings, and because of their popularity are usually fully booked most times. However, they have a friendly atmosphere, and you are invited to have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table. They are situated in Salamanca Place, close to a public car park.

Berties is a family run butcher shop located in the middle of a shopping centre, which makes it very convenient to purchase quality discount meats. They offer a wide range of meat products - and their chicken products are hormone free. Besides value added products such marinaded meats, they also make up variety meat packs - and often have specials.

I enjoy shopping at Petrarchs, as the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The shop offers a wide range of books, calendars, diaries etc. If they do not have what you are looking for, they willingly look it up and offer to order it for you. They also offer friendly advice and tips on similar topics. They always have a variety of books on special - at exceptional value for the quality of the books. They have a wide variety of local calendars and diaries, which make suitable gifts.

This newsagency and post office offers friendly, personal service which includes a tattslotto agency. They offer a wide variety of gifts, magazines, books, greetings cards, stationery etc. The newsagency and post office remain open till 6pm, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They have an extensive range of greetings cards for all occasions, and with a post office in the same building, and post boxes at the front, it makes for a very convenient postal service.

Very delicious meals - excellent service : personal and friendly. We found all courses excellently presented, and good value for the cost of the meal. The restaurant is not too large, with a cosy atmosphere. An extra appealing feature is the fact that "The Banc" is listed in the entertainment voucher book - so as well as an excellent meal you have the chance of receiving a main meal for free!

A great service - ring to make an appointment for a quote, if a large job, or arrange fee over the phone. A qualified gardener arrives, puts in a good day's work, and offers helpful advice. They will even remove extra garden waste on request.
