A nice and small bargain store that sells cigarettes and a variety of gift ideas. You'll find a great bargain here on things you expect to pay up to twice or triple the price.
I've been to this place once, and most likely not returning. In terms of price, it is reasonable but in terms of quality, it is very poor. I had an ice coffee, which was like drinking half a cup of maple syrup with lots of very bitter coffee.
This very small coffee store tucked right next to the train station is a great treat in the morning. The service is fast and friendly - there is always a "how are you?" and a smile to start your day.
The coffee is also just as promising as the staff. It is reasonably priced and one of the best coffees I've tasted - ask the locals and they'll be sure to agree.
Though the store is a convenient store that is located away from the market, they have a great variety of food stock available - asian and lebanese.
The price is fair for the location and the customer service is good with friendly staff.
I'll try not to exaggerate for this store as much as possible.
I went in on many occasions looking for flowers for my partner. On each and every occasion I would believe that I was underpaying the boss there. The flowers can be made on the spot (as you request) or you can choose from those that are already available.
The store also has a huge variety of plants and gifts that go along with your flowers.
Overall, great quality, service and beautiful flowers.
I've been to this restaurant many times, with family and with friends. They serve up a huge variety of dishes - just take a look at their menu. I believe it was up to 100 or so different dishes. The food is authentic and not too pricey.
I recommend the Padthai - though it's not a Thai restaurant, I've found it to be the nicest out of many restaurants.
Approximate cost: $12
This restaurant is one of my favourites for Thai food. The food is cheap and the serving is plentiful so that you are extremely full afterwards. There is takeaway available as well. My recommendation is for the PadThai dish with chicken or tofu - one of the best I've had.
Approximate cost: $6
I've only ever had the chicken kebab roll there but if you base the restaurant on this, it would get a big thumbs up. The chicken is charcoal grilled fresh and the aromas of Lebanese food was refreshing. I'm not Lebanese myself, but I would definitely go again.
Approximate cost: $6
The restaurant is a fairly small one within Canley Heights but it's decoration does not let it down. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed with great food. The food is affordable and can be shared among friends of all nationalities.
Approximate cost: $15-25
The people working there were nice and friendly. They acknowledged me as soon as I went in and then gave me what I needed / wanted quickly and without too much fuss.
