This hotel is very popular so its worth getting in early to order a meal. The food has improved over the years which is just as well.The menu is quite extensive. and the prices are very reasonable The staff are on the ball.

One sunday while towing my caravan to Avoca the left hand wheel on the van came off. After getting it taken to Gollops garage they found that the wheel studs were all sheared off Monday lunch time they were in Ballarat getting new studs. In the afternoon my van was ready to roll with new bearings and new studs and repacked with grease. The bill was very reasonable

This community service station was recommended to me.It is located right on the main highway. When we arrived the fuel was put in for us. Unheard of service. Wonderful ! The price was OK. The attendant was helpful.
