Brother to the landscaper who did my back yard, recommended by him. Used them twice - I wasn't home when they visited (was away interstate on 2nd occasion), couldn't really see what work they'd done. The garden was still young and didn't require much maintenance, really only spraying the weeds. They weren't asked or expected to do the lawn.

I was a bit shocked to get the bill - $330 for two visits of 2 hours each (or 2 people for 1 hour). I actually called and asked as tactfully as I could exactly what 2 people had managed to do in my garden for a whole hour, as I'd done a lot more than they had myself, (things they weren't paid or expected to do, such as the lawns, vegie gardens, sorting the potted plants etc) prior to leaving on holiday, the day prior to their visit, in less than 2 hours.

The answer wasn't satisfactory, in fact they hemmed and hawed and really only said that it wasn't the person I was speaking to, so they couldn't really say, but it would've been general maintenance, and it was for 2 people etc etc........haven't used them again. Unfortunately, consider them overpriced and wouldn't recommend them.

My parents' lawyer - have had contact with him several times concerning power of attorney, sorting my Dad's estate when he passed away, and helping my Mum move house last year. Always professional and helpful, explains things to my (our) satisfaction, happy to answer questions when I/we didn't understand.

This is a franchise, don't have their business card (will have to get it next week!) but one of them is named Felicity. They do my front lawn beautifully, usually when they come to do the neighbours. Have often seen them next door and asked if they had time to do mine as well - have always been happy to do so. Only a small area, but still charge cheaply compared to other companies - only about $12. Highly recommend.

Had a rotten pipe leaking badly under concrete discovered whilst landscaping. Fixed this and also installed new downpipe that just happened to have rusted through at the same time. Price seemed expensive but all my plumbing work has done, so I don't think this was any more pricey than anyone else. Happy with the work done.

Built a new garage for me last year. I had no previous experience of building/renovating or working with builders, or even how to find a decent builder. These guys were working at the house over the back fence and jumped over to give me a quote! Friendly, down to earth, were able to give me a solid quote. Also got a good reference for them from a mutual friend who works in the industry and knows them well.
Work seems solid, happy with it. Had a hiccup with the wiring from the house to the garage - unsafely installed for the landscaping that followed - they returned and fixed it in a few days. Am aware that a small area of wiring up the side of the house to the fuse box isn't properly insulated - should be covered with a safer piece of tubing, apparently? Wouldn't have known about this except their electrician told my landscaper he'd come back and fix it, and "don't mention it to the client"! Never came back to fix it, but I didn't chase it up either - had had enough of building/landscaping complications by then, and just thought I'd rather get it fixed myself than rock the boat.
They helpfully installed the shelves and pegboard I bought into the garage for me, and installed the clothesline onto the outside wall, which I appreciated very much - probably small jobs for them but would've been major undertakings for me.
Were slow at getting things done, everything seemed to be delayed just that little bit.....and again. Wouldn't have bothered me overly but the landscaper needed them to finish so he could begin.
Was a bit of communication breakdown about painting the interior of the garage, but got sorted quickly, and I think I was equally at fault on that point.
Also a delay in getting the certificate of completion at the end, partly due to the builders, partly due to the independent construction engineer (or whatever he's called) - got sorted after several phone calls by me.
They also sorted out a problem with my roofer for me, literally overnight, that I'd been trying to resolve for about 2 months (this was after I told them they definitely weren't using that roofer for the garage)! Greatly appreciated this! They could've just kept their working relationship with the roofer by blaming the client (me) for being fussy or whatever, but they went to bat for me and got him to finish the work on my roof.
Overall, I was happy with their work, they were a bit slow, but I'd use them again happily and just know that things might be a bit delayed.

Had a power point replaced. Were there on time, didn't take too long, don't remember exactly what the charge was, but I wasn't unpleasantly surprised, so couldn't have been too bad. Was easy to get a booking with them soon when I couldn't get others there so quickly.

Used for a trim when my hairdresser was away. Did a good job seeing as I have difficult hair and they don't usually cut it. Overall was pleased with experience.

Had half leg and bikini wax when couldn't get into my usual beautician (seem to do this a lot!) Value was good, cheaper than where I usually go, service was a bit slow, but they fitted me in at the last minute

Great satay and other Indonesian dishes. Used to stop in all the time when I finished work at 6pm. Not so often now that I finish earlier, but still get in every now and then for the food, great little business, great place to eat before the movies as well.
## Niw closed, but seems the same owners (I think) have Vanny's Cafe & Takeaway in Liverpool St, just around the corner, almost opposite Spotlight.
Same satay chicken I used to get at Little Bali!
