Nimbin Magic is agreat little store full of cool stuff. we often shop there for presents conected to the area. The owners are great people who really know the area and it's happenings.
Red Eye is where I go when I'm serious about finding a old record or music book, whatever! They are serious about rare music stuff no matter who or when if it can be found they will have it or get it! They are GREAT!
EB Games is located about half way down Woodlark St. They are pretty good in that when we wanted something they did'nt have in stock they ordered it in for us, and it was pretty quick.
Staff are cool.
mary G's has just had a huge makeover, front to back. And it looks great. This is the only pub I visit in Lismore as the staff are great, the foods good and now it is more family friendly with the bistro/resturant at the front of the pub on the street.
It's just a good atmosphere.
If your looking for a good locally owned video store then Lismore Blockbuster is what you're looking for. With a massive range of the latest DVD's for hire or purchase. the rates are good, the service is great and there's heaps of movie munchies!
Open Windows is a pretty new place, opened by Tracey. I first went there asking about computers at a really good price - which she has. I found out there's not much Tracey does not know about computers and she runs one on one training either at the shop or in yur home. i used Tracey's training and repair services at my home a few times and found it to be very helpful and I learnt alot.
Gloria jean's is in the same shopping centre where my wife works, and as they serve great coffee it's very convinent. I find the staff friendly and they remember your name only after a few visits. It's a very comfortable place to sit down and relax.
About a year ago we stopped off at The Byron Bay Brewery looking for something to eat on our way further north. We didn't know what to expect. One the day we were there they had live music playing. The food was great with a fair range to eat. There were kid friendly size meals and generally it was a nice feel to the place not like a typical pub. Also the Byron Bay Beer is pretty good!
Approximate cost: $15
When we moved from Sydney we needed to find a beautician in the local area. After trying a few around someone told us about Beauty Spot. they are very professional, and up to the standard of the major cities.
