I have visited Fairbrossen on numerous occasions and always find the food and service to be of a high quality. My most recent visit was a Melbourne Cup fundraiser for the leukemia society which was such a fun filled event. Wines grown on the property are consistently good and Meg and her husband are excellent hosts.

Carldenn is part of the Perth Hills Wine region and opens on weekends for tastings. Dennis the owner, is knowledgeable about wines and his current vintage is to be tasted to be believed. His red wines are magnificent and the whites are not far behind in quality. During Harvest Festival bush bands often play at the location and there's food available for purchase.

There's nothing quite like the tranquility and the view atop a camel amidst the natural forests of Paulls Valley. After a ride on the camels, you can stop for afternoon teaat the tearooms. If chocolate cake is on offer, you must try it if you like chocolate as it's so delicious. You can see animals in a mini zoo and also walk a section of the iconic Bibbulmun Track from the top of the camel farm.

Imagine watching Fresian sheep being milked then having a sheep cheese platter with coffee or tea in a rustic setting complete with an obliging dog who brings back a ball to be thrown across the paddock, well this is the experience at Cambray Sheep Cheeses.

A tranquil relaxing homestay just 2 kilometres out of Bridgetown. The Van Gogh apartment where we stayed is beautifully appointed with its own ensuite, upstairs lounge, outdoor table and chairs and separate entrance.
Breakfast is served in the octoganal dining room with its beautiful wooden floors.Hosts Heather and Ken make many of their own jams and pickles from produce grown on their property. Make sure you buy some of Heather's jams before you leave as they are such good quality.

A relaxing experience awaits in the pine forests at Pickering Brook. Here you can be pampered at the day spas or stay overnight in the secluded rammed earth luxury rooms. I enjoyed my first hot stone massage here and it was wonderful.
