Trevor really knows his stuff. He has been making wine since he was a baby and you can tell - he is so good at it. Do try the reserve shiraz and Wild Witch Shiraz! A must for all red wine lovers.
The Sable Chocolate Port is exceptional and for the sweet tooth, Black fire sparkling wine is incredible and very reasonably priced. Their red and white wines are all so good, I could go on forever!
We have been eating at the Mount Pleasant Hotel for a long time and you can always get a good pub meal.
I recently had a cork break in one of Grant Burge's wine bottles. I took it back to them and they replaced the bottle without question. They also offered me a rare release for which I am very grateful.
I recently had lunch at 42nd street cafe with my Mum. We didn't have a lot of time, but the staff were very friendly and service was fast. I tend to like a little more topping on my doorstops than they put, but it was on par with what other food you get in the Plaza.
Approximate cost: $10.00
We regularly meet here for coffees with the girls, and they always are very accepting of our children (2-5 year olds) that are energetic. They never get upset and keep all of their customers happy.
I have been training with these guys outdoors for a couple of years now and have made some wonderful friends and boosted by health and fitness 10 fold.
The girls in this drycleaner have been drycleaning for years and really know their stuff. On Saturday morning I had rushed two jackets in before 10 am so they could be done by 1pm - what great service. It was all done with a smile!
Recently I took my 2 year old and 5 year old (and myself) all in for check ups. The staff were so wonderful with the little ones, I'll never go back to the "school dental service" as they accepted the Mutual Community Benefit as full payment and were soooooo wonderful!
Always friendly staff and good fruit and veg. They have now expanded their selections to include dried fruit and nuts and yoghurt etc.
