Brown's Office Choice is the most amazing stationary supply store for everything you could possibly want for home, work & school. I went in to buy my father a lovely pen for Christmas & I'm sure I came out with half the store.
My mother gave me an old painting that has been in the family a while. It desperately needed re-framing. The people over at the Artshop were wonderful. They understood that the painting only had value to us but treated it with great care nonetheless. They did a beautiful job.
For our staff Christmas dinner we went out to Banjo's Restaurant. The food was just so delicious. We all had something different so got a very good overview of the menu. Having booked beforehand & gotten a menu then,we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed.
The drought has been sending ants in for water. The pest man lived up to his contract of 12 months & came out a couple of times during that period to help deal with the ants. That was huge.
My watch needed a new leather band. The sales person went out of her way to find exactly what I was after. She even went back to a storeroom to check what was there. I was never pressured or hurried.
Betros Bros have the best value fresh fruit and vegetables in town & whenever I shop I always pick up some grocery items on special. It's worth the extra effort to go out of my way to shop there.
I bought a bouquet of flowers for someone in the hospital. The florist shop smelled wonderful. There was a fabulous range of prices, flowers and gift items to suit.
We contacted Clarke & Webb for a new TV antenna. The response was very quick & the fee reasonable. The man was knowledgeable & helpful in my decision making.
I went with my sister to look at balloons for our father's 85th birthday party. The choice was amazing. We were served by a woman who obviously loved her work. A great attribute in the party industry.
I went in to buy a new microwave oven. The sales person was knowledgeable & helpful & made the whole experience so much easier. They answered all my questions without being patronizing.
